I had an appointment at Advance Dental in early January and I thought I would wait a while before leaving a review, in case my thoughts changed. Sadly, they haven't. I had been a patient of Dr. MacDonnell's (before he sold) for several years and had a lot of work done. All excellent, by the way. But it had been several years since I had been in to their office due to loosing my insurance when I retired as well as a few other factors, so I knew I would need x-rays, cleaning and an exam. I am on the government insurance, as a senior on a fixed income. I was quoted $96 for the appointment, but was told it may vary. So when I when I went to pay, I wasn't too surprised that it would be $146.65. I was also told they needed more time, but I would have to pay the full amount for that visit. $300 more!! Almost $450 for a $96 estimate. They don't follow the government fee guide. I thought, at least, I could see what the options (at least two) going forward would be and estimates for that, as I was told would happen from the dentist (not Dr. MacDonnell, by the way). The front desk told me the only options were crowns and they are not covered. I've had crowns before. They are not cheap. Not really an option for a fixed income senior. They offered no other recourse. Now I have to get another opinion, at my own cost, I assume. If you're a senior, fixed income and relying on the federal dental program, you may want to look elsewhere.

Had such a great experience at this dental office! There’s a perfect balance of professionalism and a relaxed, friendly vibe that immediately puts you at ease. It’s clear the team genuinely enjoys working together, and that positive energy really carries through the whole visit. Huge shoutout to Tan (certified dental assistant) and Chloe (dental hygienist), Dr. Brendon Clarke, Olivia (who truly seems to do everything), and the front desk team for making something most people dread—future dental appointments—something I’m actually looking forward to. Everyone was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel easy and comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I always have a wonderful experience at Advance Dental. Staff is consistently kind, respectful and professional. They will take the time to explain everything clearly and ensure I feel at ease. After experiencing some PTS in the past, I truly appreciate their friendly atmosphere and care 😁

I want people to know how professional your office is. My husband Lyle says Dr. Andy Macdonnell is a consummate professional! A very intelligent and highly trained person and we are sure he is also a private individual. To all of you, a big thank you and have a wonderful long weekend!!
