Joe came out to my clients home for a service call today. He was able to make it on short notice which I appreciated! The lock servicing itself was quick and he seemed knowledgeable about the old school type of lock we were dealing with as well. I would happily recommend Ace! :)

Based on their reviews I booked them, but my experience didn't match the other reviews. The locks seem fine, the service I experienced was unprofessional. I booked 1.5 weeks beforehand to be the first appointment of the day to minimize how much work I had to miss, so I sucks having to miss extra work than planned. I understand these businesses schedules aren't exact times but when I hadn't heard anything for 30+ minutes I called and they didn't sound like they had me in their schedule and would have someone over. Finally over an hour later, and almost 2 hours past when I originally scheduled it, they arrived. When I followed up afterwards they said the schedule isn't exact for the industry, though when hiring similar companies they have messaged and given notice when running behind. Another reason they stated they were almost 2 hours late is they were stuck in traffic, even though the work was done before ice and snow so traffic conditions were fairly predictable.

I bought a keypad lock from Ace, and they installed it in my door. They ensured it would work with our door and made sure it was a model that worked with Edmonton's climate. The locksmith not only installed it quickly and professionally, he also adjusted a part of the door latch that was sticking, free of charge! His prices were better than the other locksmiths I had obtained quotes from. I am very happy with the product quality, the price, and most of all the service.
