A Burst of Colour re-stained our 44 year old kitchen cabinets and made them look new again. Travis (the head guy) was easy to work with and he answered our questions and kept us well informed throughout the project. The thing we appreciated the most was his high standards. Our cabinets presented some challenges, and he made sure that the final quality was excellent. We feel confident recommending this company to anyone.

We had our kitchen cabinets repainted and couldn’t be happier! Travis and his team were professional and thorough. The prep work to ensure everything was protected was outstanding and the paint job is impeccable! We chose a bold colour and it was reassuring to have a designer go over our colour choice. It was also fun that the crew were excited to do such a bold colour and they also couldn’t wait to see the finished product. We would definitely use Burst of Colour again and highly recommend them! From my first contact with Travis regarding a quote for my kitchen, bathrooms, ceilings, walls, and furniture, I realized that Travis has a passion for paint (yes, this is a thing!). As I learned once he and his team went to work painting my kitchen's structural elements (cabinet frames, trim and panels) and the doors/drawer fronts back at their shop, they also have an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of paint and painting. They demonstrated the importance of precise paint application, keeping the worksite (my home) protected and clean and communicating throughout the project by email, text and in person. As a wanna-be interior designer and flipper, I have renovated 3 condo kitchens in 4 years and understand the challenges of painting in tight surroundings/limited space. Therefore, I would like to give a special "shout out" to Brent and Peter for their high quality, "never say die" approach to their work. Travis and his team turned a boring, sterile white and black kitchen into a bold and inviting sage green and gold "hub of the home", complemented by Cambria Quartz countertops and backsplash. Travis and his team were absolutely wonderful. They were professional, courteous, and thorough through all stages of their work in our kitchen. They took great care and pride in their work, and were incredibly prompt, communicative, and kind in all interactions with us. Although they were not painting our island, they happily switched out our island hardware for us as part of the project, which saved us a ton of time and hassle. They moved all our appliances as needed and left our finished kitchen tidy and beautiful! We are super happy with our updated kitchen, and could not recommend A Burst of Colour Painting more enthusiastically.

We would highly recommend Travis and A Burst of Colour! We had Travis and his crew come out to paint the main floor interior of our bungalow before we moved in a year ago. They also painted the dark wood around our fireplace and mantle a nice light colour. Beautiful durable results! We were so impressed with the quality of the work that we had them come back this summer to paint all our kitchen cabinets, and the stair railing to the basement. They showed exceptional attention to detail during the prep phase, with great respect for our home and belongings. Since we are NOT interior decorators we really appreciated having them send one out to help us pick exactly the right colours for our projects both times. Dee is a delight to work with, and she really knows her business! During the work we were out of town for a few days and returned home to find out that Travis had called in a plumber for an emergency fix when our fridge water line broke. I am so grateful he handled this for us and prevented extensive damage to our wooden floors! All in all, I would say that this company is trustworthy, very easy to deal with, and the high quality results are extremely professional. Our kitchen looks brand new!! This company is officially now our “go to” painters!
