I had an appointment with Dr. Shiraz to remove 4 impacted wisdom teeth. We had a consultation in December, where he mentioned to me that he could do the procedure the next day with oral sedation. Considering that I have general anxiety towards dental procedures and the complexity of the procedure, I asked for other sedation options and we discussed IV sedation, which I was much more comfortable with. He told me that he would be unable to perform IV sedation until February due to waiting on a machine needed for the procedure. After this appointment, my parents and I had several conversations with the front office requesting quotes for the insurance and we booked an appointment for IV sedation, in February, which I confirmed with the staff that IV sedation would be available at that time. Since I'm a student studying in a different province, I flew in for the procedure on my reading week. As I got to the appointment, I was shocked to hear that the IV sedation was not available and was told that we would be doing oral sedation. Clearly there had been some sort of miscommunication with the front office, who believed that they had informed us that IV sedation was not available, but that did not happen. Dr. Shiraz promptly addressed the issue by offering to do the procedure with IV sedation the next day, ensuring that he would get the machine required either by delivery or borrowing the machine from another dental clinic. He also offered to not charge us for sedation completely considering this breakdown of communication, given that I flew out specifically for this procedure and my parent's had to take the day off work to be able to drive me to and from. Dr Shiraz handled this issue to the best of his ability and stepped up to address our needs. The procedure itself seemed to go well but I can't accurately comment on it due to the sedation. I would recommend 67th Street Dental for anyone given their clear priority on patient satisfaction and wellbeing. Something that the front office could improve on is to call the patient before the procedure. Generally, my experience with procedures is that the office will call you for pre op instructions like not eating or drinking 8 hours before the procedure. Unfortunately, this did not happen and I had to call the office the night before to confirm the appointment and ask for pre op instructions. The front office staff despite the communication issues from this experience are some of the friendliest staff that I've ever met and are the reason that I chose to go with 67th Street Dental for my wisdom teeth procedure.

I would like to thank Dr. Syed for his great approach to dentistry...In the past ( 50 years ), I have had some horrendous and painful experiences in the dental chair. To say I was scared and anxious to go would be an understatement. I knew I needed some help with my teeth so forced myself to go. Must admit I froze quickly, which never ever happens, for the appointment he explained the agenda for the visit and provided a bit of a play by play update as we went along. This was very re-assuring for me.So, one big filling, and two small ones done plus some cosmetic work on three teeth. I was in and out in 90 minutes and freezing effects gone an hour after that.!!Assistants and front desk teams all seem to be really friendly and knowledgeable. Huge thanks to all..!!

Quadelle was highly efficient and professional at cleaning my teeth. She provided explanations and suggestions for improved dental health. She completed the cleaning in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her as an excellent dental hygienist.

Received a warm, friendly welcome from Heather and Krista as soon as I walked in the door. And my hygienist Quadelle is always gentle and thorough with my semi annual cleanings. She’s friendly and quick to praise the progress made with maintaining my oral health. It’s never a struggle to come here b/c the staff create a warm comfortable environment!

I visited 67th Dental yesterday for a checkup and cleaning, and it was my first time there. My experience was great from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming and professional—especially Megan, who was wonderful and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. The clinic was clean, well-organized, and the care I received was excellent. I’m very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend 67th Dental to others. 😊
