I recently had my car break down while traveling through Kelowna, and I was lucky enough to end up at First Place Auto Repair. Anu, the mechanic who helped me, was an absolute lifesaver! From the moment I pulled in (or rather, got towed in), he greeted me with a friendly smile and immediately got to work diagnosing the issue without any hassle. What stood out most was Anu's incredible willingness to help—he explained everything in simple terms, answered all my questions patiently, and even went the extra mile to source a part quickly so I could get back on the road the same day. His expertise was evident, and he fixed the problem efficiently without trying to upsell unnecessary services. The pricing was fair and transparent, which is a huge relief when you're stressed about a breakdown. If you're in Kelowna and need reliable auto repair, I highly recommend First Place Auto Repair and specifically Anu. These are the best guys in town. Never have I ever had such humble and honest mechanic. They helped me on spot. Would recommend to anyone looking for a real mechanic.

I have taken my vehicle here around 5 times for breaks, rotors, alignment, AC compressor issues and they have consistently done a great job for a competitive price. I really appreciate that they don’t aggressively try to upsell repairs or parts. I unfortunately don’t remember the persons name who runs the register (I’m assuming he is the head mechanic and or possibly the owner?) but he has always been great to work with, he’s always honest and realistic about quotes and how many hours a job will take to complete.

The team was friendly and efficient. We booked for our winter tires to get installed and I was worried because we came all the way from Revelstoke and had lots of errands to run but the truck was in a the booked time and only took about an hour to get done and we had plenty of time to get the rest of our errands done. Thanks and good job

I came here on a friend’s recommendation, and now it’s already my fifth visit — that alone says a lot. He is truly the best mechanic in Kelowna. The quality of his work is outstanding every single time, the prices are very fair, and he always treats you with kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find someone this reliable and dedicated. I genuinely recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic they can trust. 100% worth it.
