I wish I could rate lower. I booked with Emma over a week ago, went at the stated time and was waiting 10 minutes in the waiting room to be told they cancelled my appointment, they were sorry for not telling me, and she was overbooked. They welcomed me to rebook. No way… 😑

I have received 3 blowouts from Krista in the past month and I am obsessed. I have naturally super curly hair that is crazy and she has done a perfect job every time i have come in for a visit. She knows what she is doing and I recommend you visit her. She does it in a timely fashion and makes the process feel easy going and relaxing.

I’m on the fence about this salon, I tried it first with Soma because a friend recommended her. She was amazing, even though I just went for a bang trim she was probably the only stylist that didn’t make me go home and cry lol I attempted to go back to her; booked with her on the website and when I got there I ended up with someone else instead. I thought I made a mistake online but my email confirmation says I booked it right so I have no idea why I was given to someone else and not told. I went with it because it was just a bang trim anyway. She was very nice, I asked if I was able to get a trim on my regular ends as well because I wasn’t sure how to book it online and she was nice enough to extend our appointment to do it for me. But I was never told the price, I went in thinking I’d just do my bangs for $5 before tip, and ended up paying $63 after tip. Which isn’t a huge deal, but I told the stylist I had washed my hair the night before, and she still washed it (which I’m assuming is why it was 12x as much) and I probably wouldn’t have gotten it done had I known the price as I have more important things to pay for right now. When she cut my bangs, there was no sectioning/parting (I had really grown out bangs already) so she ended up missing chunks of my existing bangs. I’m no hair stylist but the way they were cut looked exactly how I’ve cut them at home after watching a YouTube video, and they don’t look even to me either. I tried to go home and style them myself, give it a couple days to get used to, but they didn’t get any better. I wish I had said something before the appointment but I wanted to give the girl a chance, but I think I have to get them fixed elsewhere 😕

This review is mixed because I went with my daughters, who both had an excellent experience (thank you Tanya). My experience was not so great. I was given a junior stylist (unknowingly) who literally Did. Not. Speak. She cut my hair without asking me what style I wanted, whether I wanted it straight or curly, or whether I wanted layers. I kept waiting for her to ask me what I wanted, assuming foolishly that I didn’t have to stop her and tell her what I wanted before she finished. The cut was uneven and the style made my head look like a bell. When I got home, I straightened it and found she had missed an entire piece of hair. I’d tell you her name, but I was never told who she was. If you go. Ask for Tanya. Do not use their junior stylists.
