Zanella’s is a great little family run business. The brothers are very kind and efficient. I brought my old car in for its annual oil change and brakes. My brakes were squeaking and I asked them to check the brakes. I actually said I’m pretty I sure I need brakes so go ahead and do them. He called later and told me the car was ready. The brakes were dusty but still had a lot of life left in them so they might need to be done next year but for this year they are fine. They totally could have just gone ahead with new brakes and I never would have known. They checked the whole car over and told me it was doing fine and they couldn’t see anything else that would need work. Love them so much. Myself and my neighbours have all trusted them for years. It is such a relief to have mechanics that know what they are doing, charge a reasonable fee, and are so honest.

My step father has been a customer of yours for years and after trusting his opinion I repeatedly went to you for business despite my better judgement and significant negligence that was proven again and again. First, when I brought my car to get many lines that were leaking after a bad cold spell replaced. This was actually a very positive experience until it became apparent that the fuel line was missing a key connection after the work was done when it was not put back correctly. While driving down nose Hill drive, a rock hit the fuel line, dislodged it, and I lost complete control of my car with no steering or breaks coming around a steep downward bend. I almost hit two cars, another behind me almost slammed into me, and I was lucky nothing worse happened. I came out of it safe despite the trail of fuel left on the road behind me and the fire dept telling me I was lucky the car didn't light on fire. You owned up to your mistake and at least paid for the repairs from the dealership, but without apology for the stress that I went through, and sheer luck it wasn't something worse. Despite this experience I was encouraged to continue to trust you. When I came back to check for another leak - twice - you all told me it was nothing the first time, and the second told me it was just the cold affecting a hose and would pass. A year later the leak is still there as discovered from an oil change. I decided to trust you again and took my car to you to see what the problem was only to be told it was a leak from my transmission. Upon your advice I went to a transmission shop in town who finally were able to give me answers. It was never the transmission- but a leak from the radiator of coolant. At this point how could I possibly trust your business again? You all didn't take even a minute to properly help me, assess my car, when I was trying to give you business and loyalty. You are all negligent and despite the overwhelming positive reviews I urge customers to think twice about trusting this business like I repeatedly did only to get burned again- at least I didn't wait for my safety to be put in jeopardy like last time.
