So thrilled Dr Michelle Chen has opened Woodland Veterinary Clinic in East Vancouver. She was our previous vet closer to our home, but I will and have absolutely travelled to obtain her excellent care for my new Aussie Labradoodle puppy. Dr Chen was amazing in supporting me through the difficult several year journey when my previous labradoodle was diagnosed with cancer. She was an advocate and a true impartial guide for me to make the right science based decisions for the welfare of my dog in the latter stages when under specialist care. She is kind, empathetic and my current puppy and last dog love her. She gets down on the floor to the animal’s level and reduces their fear. The new clinic is stunning and feels more like a spa. So clean and comfortable cushy seating. Dr Chen is clear about pricing and they submit directly to Trupanion. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of Woodland Veterinary Clinic. Dr Chen is a breath of fresh air.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog (Muffins) received at this clinic. From the moment we walked in, the place stood out—the building is absolutely beautiful, with a clean, modern design that immediately makes you feel comfortable and confident in the level of care they provide. Dr. Burke and Dr. Chen were both outstanding. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions without rushing, and treated my doggo with such kindness and patience. It’s rare to find veterinarians who combine expertise with that level of compassion. Easily a 5-star experience.

I can't recommend Woodland Veterinary Clinic enough. From the moment we walked in, my pup and I were treated like family. Dr. Michelle Chen is wonderful. She comes across as having a real passion for animals. She took her time with a thorough exam, explained everything clearly and kindly, and gave me good options without ever making me feel pressured or like I was being sold something. I left feeling totally confident and at ease knowing my dog was in such great hands. The clinic feels warm and calming, and it's obvious they designed it with pets and their people in mind. The whole team was friendly and professional, and the prices were reasonable. This was one of the best vet visits we've ever had. We've already decided Woodland Veterinary Clinic is our new regular vet. Thank you to Dr. Chen and the whole team. You've earned a client for life!

So grateful to have such a friendly, inviting and wonderful veterinary practice open in this neighbourhood! Much needed for this fast growing area. We moved to this vet due to the convenience of it being right in front of our building. But we were pleasantly surprised with the level of care and hospitality they have shown us and our two miniature dachshunds. Dr.Rebecca was so informative, thorough, and kind - our vet visits were very affirming and easy for the pups. One of our doxies is apprehensive of vet visits and they took the time to see him and get him comfortable around them. Couldn’t ask for a better team to look over our dog’s health. The vet techs and clinic hosts were all so so friendly and accommodating. You can tell from their energy that they truly care! Also, the pricing is very fair and upfront. Apart from your dog’s regular health check ups, vaccinations, and preventatives, they also offer anal gland expressions and nail trimmings. Shout out to Jenny, Lilith, and Chelle for their outstanding hospitality!

Dr. Chen and the staff are amazing! We met Dr. Chen at our old clinic and she was so good with Hansel! Hansel was a rescued dog and he’s extra skittish at the vet, but Dr. Chen was so patient and accommodating with Hansel. So glad she opened her own clinic! Hansel just had his first visit and it was great!

Dr. Chen and the whole team are amazing! We knew from the moment Dr. Chen first treated Davey at our old clinic that we would be following her to Woodland, and we are so happy we did! Davey used to be so nervous at the vet, but at Woodland he was relaxed and comfortable. The team is very friendly and gentle, and they truly care. We trust Dr. Chen and the team implicitly and are so happy that Woodland is open!
