So disappointed with my experience. I came in for an emergency appointment and on the phone was told they’d have time to fit me in the next day if I needed work done. I come in for the appointment they do the X-rays and tell me I need a full patient exam which is a week out. Not ideal but okay I can wait. I go up to pay and they tell me they can’t directly bill my insurance because it usually takes a few days to hear back. No problem. They assure me they’ll send off the paperwork first thing the next day to make sure my appointment the following week would be covered. Fast forward to two days after my emergency appointment I phone them to make sure my insurance has gone through and to see if they need anything else from me. Only to be told that my insurance would take WEEKS to go through (I’ve never been told that at any dentist ever.) It’s a good thing I phoned or it sounds like I would’ve been paying out of pocket with no warning for my next appointment!! So disappointed because the dentist and assistant were amazing! Very kind and not pushy.

Kim was very caring, cheerful and professional. She explained every step and answered my questions patiently. The girls at the reception were welcoming and efficient. Overall I had a very positive experience during my first visit to the clinic today.

We were so Lucy to have found this dentist. I had been going to a family dentist for almost 35-40 years now. But we moved from where I grew up. So my new family has setup roots in the Langley area. We tried another newer dentist for few years, but he ended up seeing his practice and other dentists took over. We were never notified so we didn’t like how it was all transferred. This was part of the reason we were already looking for a new dentist to begin with. I bit into something and heard that horrid “crunch crunch” sound and the food I was eating had nothing crunchy in it. My wife and I called around everywhere including the dentist we started going to that sold the practice out here. Not much luck, but thankfully my wife found this place. There was a bit of confusion at first (new temp secretary maybe) and they called back and said they made a mistake and the spot was for a weeks time. I said ok thanks we’ll have to keep looking. Thankfully we didn’t even get a chance to find a new place to call before they called back and said the can for me in just an hour earlier than what they said before. Done and done. Was a huge relief. We went in on time for the appointment, we had a little more paperwork to fill out since we hadn’t been here before. Totally normal. As we were filling out all the forms we were just asking other clients how they’ve liked the place and services. Everyone we talked to said they’re great. Never weird billing stuff or quotes that are way off compared to other locations. Not a ton of add ons when the bill time comes along. Once all my paperwork was handed in they called me almost right away to go to the back. I saw the dental assistant first I think. She was great asking all the right questions for what I was complaining about. Took the necessary X-rays and then left the room shortly. I saw Dr. Melaki very fast after all this was done. We discussed the 3 or 4 broken teeth and narrowed down that we had to something that day on one tooth as emergency so I could at least eat. I hadn’t been able to chew any food since the night before. Repair was made super fast and just a little pain, but it was so close to the nerve we both knew it was a possibility. But work was all completed with minimal pain considering. This was absolutely HUGE and a true hero save from Dr Melaki. We were leaving the next day for a trip and wouldn’t be able to see a dentist for at least another two weeks. With the amount of pain k was really struggling to eat as well, so would’ve ruined our vacation. When paying at the front my wife and I decided to move our family over to this dentist for all future work. Thankfully he had room to take us all on. So now the wife and I are booked in a few more months for us both get the repairs we’ve been putting off for way too long long. Thank you Dr Melaki and all your staff for making a situation that is usually very stressful and turning it into a great experience considering. Would recommend to anyone looking for a decent, honest and caring dentist and staff.

I have not had a great experience at a lot of dentists. So I have waited to find one. My husband goes here and has not had a bad experience, so I thought I’d give them a try. Camille my dental hygienist made me so comfortable, and told me everything they were doing, I still have some work to do but she was amazing!

I had my cleaning done by Apoorva, and I’ll be blunt, she’s on a different level. Most people just “do the job,” but she actually knows what she’s doing and you can feel that from the moment she starts. Her technique is precise, she explains everything clearly, and she works with the kind of confidence that only comes from real skill. My teeth have never felt this clean after an appointment. She’s thorough without being rough, professional without being cold, and genuinely cares about the patient’s comfort. I’d recommend everyone book with Apoorva. If you want someone who actually takes pride in their work instead of rushing you in and out, she’s the one you should be seeing. 💯
