Worst dental encounter ever,period. My daughter,who has coverage from two dental plans furnishing 80% reimbursement,visited this office concerning an infected tooth. After being seen,the dentist advised her that she would not receive sedation and would there for eexperience discomfort through out the process. They also notified her that a $400 deposit was obligatory prior to commencing anycare. When she relayed this to meI contacted the office to seek clarification. I was told this is standard practice this is a statement the staff member simply repeated continuously, without truly addressing my inquiries. However, they claim that if my dental insurance covers the procedure,I will receive the $400 deposit back. Hold on a moment—the fact that the deposit is refundable contingent upon insurance approval*proves*this is about funds, not standard operation. protocol. Thus they sent this young woman away with out providing aid and frightening her about the procedure,after scheduling an appointment solely to demand a $400 deposit and dismiss her with out offering pain relief or medication. It’s astonishing they should have conveyed this information initially when she phoned to schedule, rather than causing her to miss school for an appointment just to obtain insurance details and request money. During that initial call,the insurance data could have been logged,and coverage verified while awaiting thecappointment date. Then, by the time the appointment arrived, this excessive \$400 up front payment would not have been a concern or requirement, as her insurance standing would have been confirmed. I suppose that is common sense only for a receptionist that one knows what administration is and two knows some costomers service on any level, During my conversation with the receptionist, she kept reiterating that it was office policy but failed to mention that the deposit would be returned once my insurance was processed. When I inquired why this wasn't ascertained and details gathered during the first telephone conversation, the answer remained: "It's policy." The attendant then suggested the deposit was for sedation, yet wasn't my daughter told she wouldn't be sedated and would feel pain during her treatment? So why must I pay a deposit for something she evidently won't receive? Again, the worst dentist in Prince George. Dr. Mann or North Hart Dental Dr Willoughbye are vastly superior clinics. Do not waste your time; seek service elsewhere.

One of the worst receptionists ever. Seeing other reviews, I see it was, probably, only encountered by me. It was not the first time that my family, in particular, and I had terrible service at the reception. Always judgmental, rude, and with a superior attitude. Unfortunately, this behavior makes the whole experience unpleasant and unwelcoming, even before seeing the dentist. I truly hope the management addresses this issue, as patients deserve respect, professionalism, and a friendly approach from the very first interaction.

Dr Wilchek Is AWESOME! As my dentist for decades he is very warm and patient. I took my great neices (5 & 7) there for cleaning and one needed some extra work. He brought us back to look at the x-rays and answered all of her questions. The hygenists were also patient and gentle with the children making it overall a pleasant experience to visit the dentist!

I spent a lot of time in this dental chair in my teens. He found cost effective solutions that worked for me, the other dentists were quoting us 3 surgeries and a drastically larger amount of work. His work is fantastic and his staff a pleasure to be around. I highly recommend Dr. R.Wilczek for your dental needs.

After a negative experience with another local dentist, I became a patient of Dr. Wilczek some time ago. He is professional, kindly, and has taken considerable time advising me of the treatment he believes is necessary. His staff are friendly and efficient. I have been very impressed by his care and concern.
