Amazing customer service! The owner was so sweet when I messaged her on instagram about a problem with my nails and they were outstandingly kind to offer to fix them for me. My experiences here have been amazing, and this nail salon as a whole are so sweet.

I asked for my cuticles to be cut before adding gel to my fill. The lady said “oh so you want a manicure?” And I said “no, I want my cuticles cut, like every salon I’ve ever been to before has done.” She then explained to me that they always cut cuticles after adding the gel. I was shocked. My best friend is a nail tech and couldn’t do my nails this time, that’s why I came to you guys. My best friend always cut my cuticles first because gel only sticks properly to a clean nail plate — not skin or cuticle tissue. Cuticle prep isn’t just cosmetic; it’s actually the most important step for adhesion and nail health. I explained this to the nail tech, who should already know this, but she just got annoyed and said “well I do it after, I don’t even know what you’re asking me.” Which is ridiculous because it was pretty clear, I asked to get my cuticles cut. Barely talks to me for the rest of the appointment, doesn’t ask how short I want my nails, I guess she decides. She keeps checking her phone, texting, calling and making me wait. She cuts my cuticles after, and now there is a gap between the nail and my cuticle because she didn’t just cut it before. So ridiculous. Had a first great experience with Tom, but after this, I will not be coming back.

I had always seen this salon nearby and thought I’d give it a try. The appointment was easy to get even the day before Christmas Eve. I was generous with the rating because the actual ladies that did my nails were very kind and provided great service (Moon did my pedicure and she was lovely, and fun to chat with). I got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure. After no joke, 2 days of having the treatment done, my nails started to peel. I’m not talking small chips here and there, I mean full on peeling. One of my fingers had the gel polish come off completely. I returned 4 days later (so yes, these peeled away nails were present at Christmas parties which was super disappointing). I called ahead and when I arrived, let the person at the front know what had happened. I mentioned that 7 of the 10 nails on my hands had been peeled or chipped away. There was no apology or sense of empathy. She sat me down to have someone else complete the treatment (who was kind and understanding), and I asked that they were able to redo all 10 nails because if 7 were ruined, what are the chances that the remaining 3 would ruin too? Probably high. She disappeared to the back room for a few minutes, and I could tell that whoever was in charge was resistant. She came back saying if I wanted the remaining 3 done, I would have to pay, to which I refused. For me, it’s the sense of customer service and regard for the situation. I wouldn’t ask for a redo of all my nails if there were maybe 2-3 chipped nails, but to have 7 nails ruined within 4 days of a gel manicure (without any stress or pressure put on the nails)? As I type this, of course, 1 of the remaining 3 nails that weren’t redone are partially peeled, and I can only assume the remaining 2 will peel as well. It’s not asking a lot, but really tells me something about the salon if they are resistant to trying to make things right for their customer when they have the control to. There were no incentives offered, and it honestly felt like a nuisance asking them to correct a treatment that was ruined (through their doing). There are a lot of things a salon can do to keep their customers, even the small gestures, and the salon failed to do that. Won’t be returning here anytime soon.

I was grateful to get a same day appointment to get my nails done, but I kind of wish I booked elsewhere. Upon walking in for my appointment, I was led to a work station that didn’t look tidy or sanitary. The lady who did my nails seemed pleasant, but had an earbud in the entire time, made no effort to connect, and appeared to be talking to someone on the phone. When I booked the appointment on the website it said shellac was a 45-minute service, but she had me out and done in under 20 minutes. Maybe for some this is convenient if in a rush, but I would’ve hoped to have a bit more time spent on my nails rather than being rushed in and out (it wasn’t even busy). My nails look okay, but I would recommend going elsewhere if you want someone with attention to detail and more customer service skills.

I've been visiting for pedicures for three years, and I can't express how wonderful they are. Bella has been my go-to, and she always does an incredible job. Today, I treated my mom to an amazing pedicure, and she was absolutely thrilled. She enjoyed a fantastic massage and a lovely pedicure, complete with hot stones—what a delightful experience! I highly recommend White Sparkle Nails. My mom had her treatment done by Moon, while I had Bella, and both are exceptional. Thank you, ladies, for yet another outstanding service!
