I had an astounding osteopath appointment with Nouh to treat chronic neck pain following multiple injuries. I've had every treatment out there including rhizotomies (cut nerves) and I had run out of options. Other treatments at this point don't last. Didn't know what to expect since it was the first osteo for me. This is it folks!! Why isn't osteo more common?? He worked head to foot, loosened every joint in my body, and worked on muscle and fascia - all just for evaluation - and created a treatment plan that nailed it. He could read what was going on in my body. Fascia treatment is critical in many cases of chronic pain. Some MTs offer it, but an osteo works on that and much more for the whole body, including alignment and the interconnection of the parts. When I left I felt much taller, my shoulders had dropped, even my internal organs felt relaxed, and my entire body felt release, like a concrete case had fallen off me. And the release has lasted, my posture is better, and pain is improved. And that is after 1 visit for evaluation, not treatment. I very nearly had another rhizotomy this week (painful and with long lasting unpleasant side effects), and canceled a couple of days before. It was the right decision. Osteo is going to be more helpful at this point than anything the Interventional Pain Clinic (Nelems) can offer me. (They achieved a lot in the past but those options aren't helpful now). Osteo is remarkable. It does something that no other therapy has ever done, in such a complete, whole body way. BTW Nouh is also a physio by training.

Rachel was an amazing physiotherapist who genuinely dedicated her time and expertise to helping me heal. Nathan, as my kinesiologist, equipped me with practical tools and real-life exercises that made a real difference, and Alicia has truly magical hands as a massage therapist. The level of personal care and dedication I received throughout my recovery was exceptional. I never once felt like I was “just another appointment” — they made me feel seen, valued, and worthy. I had a great first appointment yesterday with Katie. I want to gain strength and stability because I am a little off balance. I woke up this morning and my bad leg and hip are pain free. My hip was sore from endometriosis pains and a bunch of seizures I had in September. Waking up in the morning was rough, I occasionally need to use a cane but this morning I got up fine. Going to get some acupuncture next and I can’t wait. Thanks again Katie you’re the best.
