It's what you want from a gym. Motivation, solid equipment, nice staff and patrons. It's an institution to get serious about your fitness and where you can reach your full potential. The only thing I would say is the equipment can be a little bit overwhelming, but thats can be a positive thing as well. Just got to learn how to use everything. 😏💪🏽

From out of town they let me drop in for free. I met the owner he is a great guy. The gym is incredible the equipment is topnotch. They have so much plate loaded equipment. Two of every machine. The vibe is "lets get it did". They have some unique gym equipment as well, which makes this gym have an old skool Dorian yates vibe. If I lived in vancouver this would be the gym I go to. The other gyms don't hold a candle to this place.

After switching through numerous commercial gym chains and my workouts feeling more and more like a burden, I thought I'd try out WCI. I'm so glad that I did. The equipment is fantastic. The dedicated leg section in particular is incredible. Yes, it is a that has lots of big and strong men (and ladies!) lifting heavy weights. But perhaps surprisingly, there is far less judgemental behavior here than at any of the commercial gyms. People here are serious about THEIR fitness, not busy sizing up others. I'm an older guy that's past his prime weightlifting days, but I feel reinvigorated going to the gym these days at an awesome facility packed with people taking their own unique fitness journeys seriously -- whether that's bodybuilding, powerlifting or general fitness, newbies and advanced. Do yourself a favor -- swing by and give it a try. And say a quick hello to Ron if you can (owner) - he's friendly & welcoming despite his size! Just like his gym.

I recently visited West Coast Iron for a tour because I was considering joining. The equipment and training culture are clearly elite, and the gym has a strong reputation for serious competitors. But the cleanliness, especially overhead, was a dealbreaker. The ceiling, fans, and upper windows are covered in what looks like years of dust, and you can feel it in the air as soon as you walk in. For a gym of this caliber, it was honestly surprising. I decided not to join for that reason. If management addresses the hygiene and maintenance above eye level, this gym could truly be world-class.

Was in Vancouver for vacation and did a few drop - ins there. The Staff is friendly and the vibe there is fantastic. Try some of the Shakes, they‘re really good!
