We had the greatest experience with Lindsay capturing our newborn daughter's photos, and 110% recommend her to anyone seeking incredible care, attention to detail, and just superb work! From the moment we arrived at her studio, the environment was so calming and we felt at ease handing our newborn over to begin the session. Lindsay must be a baby-whisperer because our daughter only cried once during the entire 3hr photoshoot, and that was to feed and change her diaper! Our photos turned out even better than we expected, and our friends and family are in awe of all the adorable and beautiful photos. Lindsay, thank you again for capturing such a special moment in our lives for us. You are brilliant at what you do!!

I highly recommend the services of Lindsay with Violet Rose Photography. She brought her outstanding talents to our recent extended family photo shoot and we couldn't be happier with the memories she captured. Not only was she excellent to correspond with leading up to the shoot, her talents on the day were remarkable. She was able to wrangle young kids, keep their attention and capture remarkable photos. March 2021: We booked a newborn session with Violet Rose Photography. We had a great experience & couldn’t be happier. Lindsay was so easy to communicate with & prompt at replying. Her photo session guide was so helpful with guiding us on what to expect/how to prepare. The studio was clean & comfortable. I was so impressed with all the prop/wrap & colour options. Lindsay was so gentle & patient with our son during the shoot. Our photos were delivered quicker than I expected & they turned out absolutely incredible. Lindsay is so talented at what she does & I would highly recommend Violet Rose Photography to anyone! May 2023: We booked with Lindsay for a newborn photoshoot. Lindsay’s studio is welcoming, clean & comfortable. Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Lindsay was so patient with our baby - a true baby whisperer! She selected multiple back drops & props that were perfect & well thought out. She provided a great variety shots - delivering the proofs & final product with a fast turnaround time. We are so happy with the photos & look forward to booking with Lindsey for a family shoot in the future.

We did our 1 year + cake smash photo shoot with Lindsay and could not be more pleased with the experience. Breaking down our experience for others who might be evaluating doing the photo shoot with her. Logistics + setup Lindsay was extremely proactive with communication and any changes to plans. She provided good amount of insights into themes/cake decorations that might work while still letting us drive the overall setup for our daughters cake smash. Photo shoot We were a bit worried if our little one might throw a tantrum (she is not great around new folks), but Lindsay was such a soothing presence for her that she happily obliged and actually enjoyed the photo shoot. Lindsay is a true professional, capturing every precious moment while directing us(parents) on things to do to keep our little one engaged to get a range of emotions during the shoot. Lindsay had also arranged for the perfect backdrop, cake, decorations to make the even pop. Post-shoot Lindsay did a great job curating and editing the photos. The platform she used to share the photos was also extremely snappy and easy to navigate to get both raw images and web optimized ones for sharing. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Lindsay and would highly recommend her.

Lindsay has an eye for the creative and we thoroughly enjoyed our Cake Smash and Splash photoshoot with her! Her backdrop was curated to my theme, as was the cake she designed for us and she added outfits on the fly. My daughter was still a bit sleepy from a shorter nap today and Lindsay had a large bag of tricks to make her smile and engage with the camera. Outside of the studio, Lindsay was professional and prompt to respond. She anticipated our needs through offering to view her gallery to find a theme, made her invoices easy to understand and took the creative lead when asked. Highly recommend!
