Ann was amazing! My nail request had a bunch of tiny intricate details but she did amazing! she took her time and really made me feel like she cared if I loved the nails or not.. couldn't recommend more:)

I went to Victoria's Nails & Spa to get my gel nails removed and for a basic manicure to clean up my nails. When I booked my appointment, I made sure they knew I had the powder gel with nail extensions. My appointment felt super rushed, which led to one of my nails getting partially ripped off. When removing my nails, she took a fake nail tip and started prying off the fake nail on my pinky finger. This led to my real nail getting ripped off in the top corner of my nail bed. Obviously, I flinched as this was incredibly painful and jarring. She didnt apologize or acknowledge that she had ripped off my nail even though it was bleeding and inflamed. Thankfully, she stopped with that method, and she got my nails soaking so she could file them off, however, she grabbed my hand with the ripped off pinky nail and pushed it into the solution which made it sting even worse, so I took that finger out. She asked me to put my pinky back in the solution, but I told her it's too painful since my nail got ripped off. She asked if I got my gel nails done with them, and after I explained I got them done by my wedding makeup artist, she said they had applied too much glue on my nail extensions and basically blamed my nail getting ripped off on where I previously got my nails done. She nicked my fingers with the file a couple times while removing my fake nails. By the end of the appointment, there was still layers of the fake nails left behind. I wasn't expecting my nails to look absolutely beautiful after a removal as I understand that the fake nails can make the real nails brittle and flaky, but I did hope that there would be more attention to detail given. I was still charged full price despite my nail getting ripped off. I recognize mistakes happen, but to not even recieve an apology is quite disheartening.

Asked for a nail fill & pedi.. Love, the fact that my feet actually got to soak for more than two minutes. However, the rest of the Pedicure was rushed, not a lot of scrubbing going on still black all around my toes had to ask them to cut my nails shorter applied lotion, but no massage. Then at the same time, my hands were being pulled away from my relaxing chair massage to start the nail fill process… when my toes were done I went to the nail table and she asked if I wanted a manicure.. I said no, she said well you have cuticles that need to be trimmed… ok, trim them and push back my cuticles.. standard usually.. no she wanted to charge me more.. I explained I was a nail tech in the past. Needless to say both fill & nails are less than satisfactory. Very disappointing.

Annie is AMAZING. She is so sweet and incredibly talented, especially with nail art/designs. I’ve always been very pleased with the results! The fantastic service, skilled technicians, and welcoming atmosphere makes Victoria Nails is my favourite spot in Kelowna. Highly recommended!

I love my nails! They always look fabulous when I visit Victorias Nails. Everyone here is kind and friendly and happy to do any design that pleases me as well as giving recommendations as to what else I might like. I most definitely will continue to come here to get my nails done!
