I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Venetian Nail Spa - Winnipeg Group located in Kildonan Place. Upon entering the salon, customers are instructed to remove their shoes and wear the store’s plastic slide sandals. While I find this policy unusual, my daughter and I have continued to support this business over the years despite their high pricing. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, my daughter’s brand new UGG boots (valued at approximately $150) were stolen from the entrance area where staff directed her to leave them. When this was brought to the supervisor’s attention, we were told the salon is “not liable” for lost or stolen items. However, there are no visible signs posted indicating this policy, nor are customers asked to sign any waiver acknowledging such risk. When we explained that my daughter had to go to work later that day and had no other appropriate footwear for winter conditions, we were told she could simply wear the salon’s plastic slide sandals. In Winnipeg’s winter, this is clearly not a reasonable or safe alternative. I requested that at minimum my daughter be refunded for her nail service and tip — which totaled nearly $100 — so that we could put that money toward replacing her stolen boots. I would have considered that a fair and reasonable gesture of goodwill under the circumstances. However, this request was refused. The staff member we were dealing with was extremely rude and repeatedly spoke over me while I was trying to explain the situation. We were also told that customers are “allowed” to bring their shoes with them during the appointment; however, this is never advised or communicated. My daughter is young and trusted the instructions given to her. It is unreasonable to expect a young customer to assume she should ignore the salon’s standard practice and carry her footwear with her. The only resolution offered was that they would review security footage at a later time, as the cameras are apparently stored on a laptop not located in the salon. No immediate action was taken, and no meaningful assistance was provided. I do not make accusations lightly, but I left feeling that we were treated dismissively and without respect. As long-time, loyal customers, this was extremely disheartening. Requiring customers to remove their shoes without ensuring a secure process for their belongings reflects poor policy and a lack of accountability. Unfortunately, this experience has changed our perspective entirely.

The paradise pedicure was amazing! Loved every minute of it. It is not cheap, wouldn't say it was reasonably priced either. But if you want a really decent massage with exfoliation and mask this is the one to get. Regular pedicure has almost no massage, if you add a massage to it you may as well get the paradise package, you get more for the same price. Would love to get this again but can't justify the price.

I had went to get a mani and pedi. The place is amazing, staff are super super friendly and the atmosphere was great! I would love to give a special shout out to Kimberly. She was absolutely amazing and I will never forget my first experience here. Despite the mall getting pepper sprayed, the staff still managed to work through the horrible incident (that was resolved asap). Thank you guys so much! Highly recommend!!!

I had the most wonderful experience at this salon and just had to share! I brought my entire family in for a pampering day—my two sisters, my mother, and both of my grandmothers. The staff was absolutely fantastic and handled our large group with so much patience and care. It’s not often you find a place that can make everyone, from teenagers to grandmothers, feel so comfortable and happy, but they did! We all wanted something special and a bit unconventional, and the artists here delivered. Every single person in my family left with a beautiful, creative set of nails that perfectly matched their personality. We were all thrilled with the results. I must give a huge special thank you to my technician, Jen. She is a true artist. She was incredibly skillful, precise, and understood exactly the unique and "edgy" (phá cách) look I was going for. She created a design for me that was absolutely stunning and truly one-of-a-kind. I can't stop looking at my nails! We all left the salon feeling so happy and beautiful. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for creative, high-quality nail art!

I got a gel nail refill here. The chairs are so comfortable and the staff is very experienced. I had Kathy do my nails, and she was wonderful. She paid great attention to the shape and thickness. The end result was a great set of nails. I highly recommend this place! I'm going to be back to get my feet done.
