I’ve been bringing my dog Maverick to VV vet for 8 years, I got him at 8 months old and have only really had one major surgery be performed here otherwise it’s primarily vaccinations, check ups and exams. We recently got an 11 week old puppy and brought her in for her second round of vaccinations, this is my first time having a puppy this young. The vet was incredible, answered all my general questions and concerns, we really discussed potty training and helpful articles, I never for a minute felt rushed. I even had some sort of an allergic reaction in my hand and they got me Claritin and water right away. The patience and professionalism here is above and beyond, my family has been using the same ver for many many years and will continue to do so. Excellent service and genuine care for the animals! Thank you!

I have been faithful to Valleyview Vet for nearly ten years now and all it got me was a dead cat, my first boy. Last September my Maine Coon fell ill and I had been going to Valleyview to figure out what it was after an emergency visit to Phases. In setting up a camera I realized my other cat was sick, he was diagnosed with a hyperthyroid and Valleyview started him on methimazole. Over the next few months til now and spending the entirety of my savings between the two cats, and two different vets at Valleyview Vet, I received ZERO treatment options or a diagnosis for my Maine Coon, simply pain medication each flare up. My other boy Ody, upon REPEAT visits to Valleyview, showing them pictures of his vomiting, acknowledging his dramatic weight loss, they told me to up the medication that was making him sick. They never once offered Cerenia (which the next vet did) to help with the nausea and they didn't once suggest testing his pancreas. This occurred from Sept to mid January. In all these repeat visits in which I lost my savings to Valleyview, I witnessed the elderly receptionist be incredibly rude and disrespectful to people coming in to euthanize their pets, when I mentioned to her one day about being quiet and respectful, she got louder and told me she had to do her job. Also in that time Valleyview made so many mistakes with the insurance claims on my MC and I am still fighting to get my three times paid deductible for the same issue thanks to their incompetence, because apparently that's up to me, not them. Twice after the new year, in emergency situations which took me to different vets.. My MC instantly received a diagnosis, and the flare up was treated with medication that stopped it, not pain meds, and I was told the flare ups of inflammation would eventually lead to cancer if not mitigated QUICKLY each time, which from Sept to January Valleyview offered not a single option to mitigate the inflammation in his mouth. Then, with my other cat at the next vet I was asked why his påncreas was never tested, especially if they saw the pictures of the vomiting and his weight loss. In fact that vet was SCHOCKED, as they said that was extremely indicative of pancreas, we tested and it was confirmed. I had three good days with my cat of 11 years after we started treatment but in the end, four days later I had to put him down at Phases as he was so frail from the weight loss and two months of malnutrition from pancreatitis he would not have survived surgery. I will NEVER step foot in Valleyview again. I know 100% in my heart Ody would still be alive if they had diagnosed him properly with his pancreatitis in the visits before Christmas over his vomiting and weight loss. In fact in that visit around November, the vet at Valleyview was 'confused' and unsure of how much medication they had prescribed, 2.5mg or 5mg doses of methimazole and they withheld 2/3rds of his medication so they could test it, then when it was ready I was asked how much I thought I should give him, frustrating as I'm not a vet. I don't think I'll forgive Valleyview Vet for what I've experienced since last September. They have changed significantly since selling out to a corporation. I also have to say, as someone who has had to euthanize a pet at the vet now when I'd HOPED to be able to plan it at home, I'm so grateful it was at a clinic that was respectful of saying goodbye to your lifelong companion and life of your house, without a receptionist yelling at people across the waiting room. I am furious with Valleyview Vet. Being loyal to them has resulted in a loss I am also furious with myself even for being trusting of them. Ody meant everything to me. Their office manager called me nearly two weeks ago to ask what they could do and I havn't heard a peep back. They don't care.

🤬 Where do I begin about the incompetence of this facility!! I brought my Shetland in for treatment for a dog attack that left a gapping hole in the muscle of the back of his neck. There was very little discussion on my dogs injury. There was a large 'thick' piece of skin/muscle attached that came from the hole that was left after the attack. This or stitches were never discussed! They spent aproximetely 10 seconds shaving him, as I had already done it. Which by the way they charged me an additional $50.00!! Almost the entire time in the exam room was spent on UPSELLING me on $2800.00 of dental work. Which there is no indication of necessity, besides some plaque & darker pink gums spots. The dog eats great and is excited about dinner, snacks and playing with sticks, he's clearly a very happy dog. The vets obviously saw this UPSELLING as more important than my dogs serious injury... they even made me up an estimate!! They sent me home with antibiotic pills and liquid, plus a cleaning agent and said hed be fine. Well the gaping hole I spoke of filled with pus right over x-mas and the unattended meat/skin flap started to smell and look worse. By this time the 'flap' came off easily, allowing me to clean inside the wound thoroughly for the first time! I also applied topical antibiotics along with prescribed pills and liquid. The wound has stayed dry and no signs of infection, but it has shown absolutely no sign of healing! So I will be taking him to 'my' vet this time!! Where I believe they'll have to surgically clean up the edges of this very large hole and then stich. Which will cost me hundreds maybe thousands of unnecessary costs, if only ValleyView Veterinary had given him proper care in the first place! Keeping in mind all along this ordeal, my dog has been healthy, happy, and well. SHAME ON VALLEYVIEW VETERINARY!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BELOVED PETS TO VALLEYVIEW VETERINARY!! - What do you think they'll do when I request a full refund? P.S. I have a years and years of dog experience and love for dogs. I used to train them for FILM & TV receiving most of my training in Australia. As well as more training on the B.C. coast.

I brought my very faithful and Beautiful 7-year-old dog "Ladybird" to which she was very ill. Found out that she had suffered a severe stroke and was advised to let her go over the rainbow bridge. All this time all the staff and vets were extremely attentive, kind, helpful, understanding, and of the utmost compassion to and with Ladybird and myself from the time that she and I walked through their doors to the time I left. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Veterinarian Clinic for the all-around services that they provide and their Compassionate customer service. I will be a returning, animal loving, Customer for all of my fur baby's needs. I give this VET Clinic a 10 STAR Rating
