Unfortunately, our Strata managers, Tribe Management, hired this plumbing company. The plumber attended twice for a major leak in the garage below my commercial unit and found no leaks, water damage, or moisture in my space. Despite this, they provided no proof that the leak originated from my unit, did not inspect or follow up with any residential units above, and still blamed me. I was billed for “tightening” an already closed shut-off valve and held responsible for a large volume of water, which is not logical and was never supported by evidence. Poor investigation, poor communication, and an unfair charge.

Urban Plumbing and Heating came highly recommended, and they absolutely lived up to it. Marco replied to me first thing in the morning, and because of the urgency had a technician at my home that same morning. The technician worked directly with the manufacturer, Rinnai, to order the necessary parts and clearly explained the plan moving forward. My Rinnai Combi-Boiler is now repaired and running perfectly.  Everyone I spoke with at Urban was professional, knowledgeable and polite. I will definitely use them again.

Not telling me about the 1.5 hrs minimum charge policy during the first booking communication, though their plumbers do decent jobs. Your industry standard of 25 years does not mean you are not obliged to communicate this to your new clients. I receives none such info in my Nov 2025 and Jan 23, 2026 bookings. Just because I processed A/P on the job for your bills, doesn't mean I know your billing policy because the bills are approved by managers before passing to accounting for cheque run.

Carmine and his team went above and beyond to assist with numerous complex issues in our suite. Jason our technician was absolutely wonderful in servicing our unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable and arrived EARLY to our appointment. He had no problem walking us through everything he was doing and actually took the time to explain it thoroughly. We cannot thank him and the team at Urban Plumbing and Heating enough!

I needed a permit for legalizing my suite. Urban was the 12th plumber I contacted… others had come to assess and then ghosted me, others gave ridiculous quotes or never got back to me. Carmine was experienced enough to understand and said “no problem”. He got back to me with the price and my issue was resolved easily! Finally! Urban will definitely be my first call next time & the company I refer others to! Thank you!
