Professional team including admin staff. Beautifully renovated space and excellent rehab equipment. Elias is not called “Mr Wonderful” for nothing. He truly cares and blends hands on elite skills with needling, up to date exercise rehab and pain science. Jenita is highly experienced with a multitude of skills to tackle your problem. Choose this team…coming from an experienced physio who was lucky to visit them as a patient 🙏🇨🇦👏

I've been a patient at Uptown Physiotherapy for over 8 years, and I can confidently say that Elias and his team have had a profoundly positive impact on my health and well-being. I first came to the clinic in excruciating pain due to a pinched nerve in my neck. Elias used manipulative physical therapy techniques that provided immediate relief, something I had been desperately seeking. Since then, whenever the issue flares up, they are always able to get me in quickly, and I know I'm in good hands. I went there for a torn meniscus and on my second visit they told me that my PT from last week called in sick. They put me in a room with a student who showed me 2 stretches then told me it will be a few minutes before the Therapist would come see me. 20 minutes later the PT came in the room and put 2 pieces of PT tape on my right knee and said we were done and she left the room. No follow up appointment mentioned or anything. So they spent about 7 minutes with me total. Do not go here if you’re trying to get better. Receptionist was great though.

I injured myself and made a call to Uptown at the recommendation of my family doctor. I called 3 times over the span of a month and left a voicemail. Never recieved a call back. I then ended up with another unrelated injury and decided to give them another call. This time I called 5 or 6 times in a row since the receptionist doesn't call you back. I wanted to speak with a real person. I know that's excessive calling but maybe if they checked their voicemail I wouldn't have to call that many times. I finally got through to someone and in the nastiest voice they said something along the lines of. " We don't appreciate you calling 6 times in a row when we are with a patient" I began to explain that maybe if they returned their calls I wouldn't have to call so many times. She put me on hold while I was speaking. She came back booked me an appointment a month away I called another physio place who got me in asap and were professional on the phone. I just called back Uptown to cancel my appointment. We'll find out in a month if they try to charge me something for a no show because they don't check their voicemail

Extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist. I’m writing to share an appalling experience I had with your front desk staff today, June 30th. My son had one physiotherapy session at your clinic in April 2025 following the removal of his wrist cast. Due to other medical and personal commitments, he wasn’t able to return for follow-up sessions. Two weeks ago, I left a voicemail requesting to rebook him. We never received a callback. I called again today and was surprised to learn that he had been discharged due to the time that had passed since his last visit. What concerned me most, however, was the tone and manner in which the receptionist delivered this information. Instead of communicating your clinic’s policy clearly and professionally, she responded rudely in a flippant, TikTok-style tone, saying “Umm I’m gonna have to say nooo” a language and delivery that are completely inappropriate in a healthcare setting. When I addressed how unprofessional this response was, she did not acknowledge the concern or attempt to clarify or apologize. Instead, she curtly asked if there was anything else she could help with, and when I told her I would be leaving a nasty review about the interaction, she hung up on me. I understand and respect that clinics have policies about discharge timelines and rebooking procedures. However, the delivery of such information matters greatly. Patients and their families deserve respectful, professional communication especially when navigating care for their children. I hope this is brought to the attention of your management team and that appropriate training or guidance is offered to front desk staff going forward.
