I had a great experience at Unsalon. They were so accommodating and considerate with my schedule and even opened up the salon 30 minutes earlier to better suit my day. (This was done the day prior to the appointment btw). I requested a digital perm, and had never gotten any type of perm prior so was a bit nervous of how it would turn out. I LOVE IT! My hair is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much. Jerry was my stylist and Gee was also there to help assist him and check on me throughout the appointment. Jerry genuinely cared about the health of my hair and scalp and made suggestions taking all of that into account. He does not push product that is sold at the salon, which is a nice change. Both Jerry and Gee are personable. Jerry took his time to teach me how to manage and style my hair after the perm treatment too. Gee was so funny and made me laugh a lot throughout the appointment. I’m from out of province, but would definitely come back and have my hair done here!

I’m very happy with my experience and the new look. Even though I mistook the appointment time, the salon accommodated me with a new time without any extra charge (even on that same day). My hairstylist was Winki, she’s very nice, professional and considerate. She listened to my concerns, tried her best to understand my wants and gave me helpful advice. Not only did she take time to work on my hair (very carefully), but she also showed me how to style and take care of my hair later at home.

I had a perm with Jerry and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. He did a thorough consultation, suggested a shape that suits my face, and was very careful with the process to protect my hair. The result is exactly what I hoped for—natural movement, long-lasting curl, and easy day-to-day styling. No pushy sales, clear pricing, and a spotless, welcoming space. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff were nice and price is reasonable however I wish I was communicated that the hairstyle I asked for doesn't suit me as I have natural wavy hair and my head looks like triangle now. (I couldn’t understand their accent well though) Also the stylist didn’t ask me where my hairline is (always on left side) but the haircut and my bangs were cut and styled from middle part. I had to cut my hair to add layers after getting this haircut and now it looks better.

Winki is my hairdresser. Absolutely love how my hair turned out! The color is stunning, the service was amazing, and the stylist Winki really knew what she were doing. My hair feels soft, shiny, and fresh. Definitely coming back again!

Jerry is very skilled with Men’s cuts. I explained the problem with my hair/previous cuts. He took me through the process of how he would proceed with the cut. I loved how he shaped and textured my hair to perfection. I haven’t been this happy of a haircut in years. I will definitely see Jerry again.
