I have been getting my hair done with Mya for a while now and absolutely love her work!! My colour always turns out beautiful and I always get compliments on my hair. I recommend her to anyone wanting to get their hair done (cut or colour). Mya is friendly and passionate about the work she does and it shows with the results when I walk out of the salon.

I often used to get my haircuts at this salon, but this visit was a nightmare. My appointment was with a stylist named Mya who is apparently a certified red seal. I asked for a root touch up for brown colour and ended up with jet black hair—dark roots and jet black ends. She left the dye on my scalp for an hour with no checks, which caused a burned scalp, dandruff, and hair falling out in clumps. Her attitude was cold and strange the entire time, and after finally washing my hair (1.5 hours later), she didn’t say a single word. I felt disrespected on so many levels. They rebooked me the next day but could only remove some of the black. When I later messaged about my burning scalp, management ignored my message instead of offering any concern or guidance. As a mom of two who barely gets time for self-care, wasting $250+ on this to be wronged in such a manner was extremely disappointing and heartbreaking.

Jess was absolutely amazing in every way!! Not only did she have amazing customer service and talent, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was done perfectly so I left feeling more confident than I have in years! Hands down best hair stylest I have ever had the pleasure of seeing :) She was patient, kind, fun, open minded and her professional opinion was spot on. Jess spent 5.5 hours making sure do do my cut, colour removal, bleach foils and colour, more cutting, more colour foils and a beautiful style taking her time so my hair was not damaged and looked fabulous

Twisted Roots is the ONLY place I trust to touch my hair —period. They slay colours, blondes, & the Bellami extensions? Chef’s kiss. My hair went from damaged and hopeless to healthy and my goal hair. Megan didn’t just fix it, she made my hair goals a reality, & beyond. If you know, you know.
