I had an appointment at 3:30, and didnt see a vet till 4:10. Awful experience. The vet spoke english as a second language, and it was really hard to understand him. He didn’t read any of her records prior to coming in to see my cat, so i had to repeat alot of information that he could have read in her paperwork. I expressed concern about her age and her underlying health issues and he didnt seem to care or listen to those interests. I got completely conflicting information from when I took her into phases (an emergency pet hospital, great experience), and i mentioned that multiple times and he again, didnt care. The girl at the front desk (i didnt get her name, she was great). I feel like i just pissed away the $98 consultation fee. Thanks, but no thanks. I will not be returning.

I just got a new puppy and he wasn’t feeling too well. I brought him into the clinic and all the staff were wonderful! They quickly took a few tests and prescribed a medication for my puppy, Texan. I also had to go back for a follow up and again the staff and Dr’s were amazing. My puppy is feeling much better. I’ll definitely be going back again for his booster shots and all his future health care needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Twin Rivers Animal Hospital in Kamloops. From the moment Rosie and I walked in, we were treated with genuine compassion, professionalism, and sincerity. Every interaction felt thoughtful and supportive during a stressful time. Dr. Channi went above and beyond by doing extra research specifically to help my dog, which truly took the level of care to the next level. It was clear that this wasn’t rushed or routine — it was dedicated, knowledgeable, and heartfelt. Selena and Aksh were both wonderful, and the teamwork between the staff was obvious. Rosie was treated with patience, kindness, and confidence throughout her visit. I have found my new vet. Twin Rivers far surpassed my expectations, and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. In my opinion, there is nowhere else in this city that compares. Thank you to the entire team for taking such beautiful care of Rosie and me. 🤍

I am a pet sitter & while caring for a client’s 3 kitties, I noticed one of them was not acting like his normal playful self. Lethargic & listless, I called Twin Rivers Animal Hospital on a busy Thursday and spoke to Amanda who was able to squeeze me in that morning! 😁 I was so grateful! The second I walked in I was greeted by various friendly & welcoming staff. I then met Dr. Channi who is, by far, the kindest and most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met—I myself have lived all over BC, grew up on a ranch with literally hundreds of different animals from the biggest bull to the tiniest hamster, and have had an animal care business for over 10 years…..so have met MANY MANY veterinarians! He was incredibly professional, caring, and thorough. The kitty needed some xrays and bloodwork and after a large mass and other serious issues etc were found, the decision was made by the kitty’s family over the phone to end the sweet kitty’s suffering. Twin River’s Animal Hospital staff were in constant contact with the kitty’s owners who were away in the USA, and explained everything to me as well. A lovely and peaceful dimly lit room with candles & seating was presented to me to spend time with this beautiful kitty, say goodbye to him and have the little furbaby pass away in my arms. The staff at Twin Rivers went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, I was fully informed, and they took such beautiful care of kitty. They also comforted me so much when I was upset and gave great hugs! I personally have been taking my own pets to a different vet clinic on the North Shore, but I will be switching to Twin River’s Animal hospital because of this recent experience. Thank you all so much! A special shoutout of appreciation to Amanda, Dr. Channi, Stephanie, & Selena ❤️

I came to this hospital with my cat who had a broken leg. The clinic was able to get me an appointment right away and was even more helpful when it came to both of our’s well beings. Dr. Charanjeet supported all of our needs and accommodated to our budget. My cat was so well taken care of it was a big relief to have the support Twin Rivers offered. Thank you Twin Rivers.
