Would not recommend Tru Electric for any electrical work, period! Hired them for a home renovation, initially they were responsive and we both agreed to the scope of work. Once work was complete, we did a walk through and noticed several deficiencies that we wrote up and provided to Tru Electric, along with photos. Two glass globes for one of the bathroom light fixtures were missing, they said they were broken in the box. Well, we had gone through each box when we picked up the fixtures from Carrington lighting and there were no broken pieces. These lights do not have replaceable glass globes available so we are left with the choice to replace the fixture with some other fixture that will not match the other bathroom fixtures. We then brought to their attention that there were two fixtures that were hung crooked, not level, one a ceiling fan, hung 18 feet up and the other, a 4 light bathroom fixture, in the upstairs main bathroom. They proceeded to tell us the electrical boxes were installed crooked and thus the new fixtures had to be hung the way they are. Well the bathroom electrical box was installed by them so if it was crooked, that was their fault, right?...Nope, not their fault if fixtures they hung were installed not level...okay... Further, they installed electrical for island microwave and garbage disposal, great but when both appliances are operating at the same time, the breaker flips...another not our problem from them. They installed new electrical wiring for a new basement bedroom and a new plug for an existing office space, both do not work?...again, I am told that it is not their issue. They also walked off with a dozen Rubber Pigtail Sockets that our team had installed prior to their work commenced yet they deny it, not their problem. We withheld the final payment till the work was complete. What do they do, place a lien on the property as none of the difficiances are their fault... Only use this company if you want substandard work and a lot of excuses!

I have used Tru Electric a number of times. They are my go to company for electrical services. They are fast, professional, reliable, and I don't feel like I have been over charged for the service. This visit I appreciated the professional opinions of the team. They suggested what would look good and made it happen. Thanks to Jason and Brandon for taking the time to talk to me about the solutions and then getting the work done quickly and to specs. Brandon even found a problem that I did not know about (new house), and solved the problem for us. Not only was the electrical service top notch, but they always clean up after the job, you would not even know they had been there. I will be using them if I require electrical support in the future.

We've had Tru do work for us a few times. Always done well, on schedule, and on budget. Great service again last week from Sam and Pam. We had a LED driver that failed, Sam was able to come over to our place and replace it, quick and painless.

We had Tru Electric come to wire our new swim spa. Chris stopped in and gave us options on how to best run the cable, and within a day we had his team scheduled for the following week which was very quick! The team arrived and did an amazing job! Friendly, courteous and walked us through what they were going to do. I would use them again in a heartbeat for any electrical requirements that I have. Great job Tru Electric!

We had the best experience using TRU Electric. We will be calling on them again whenever we need anything done or fixed. They are very well priced, attentive and know their business. Ryan was the person who came out to fix our electrical issue and he was absolutely GREAT! We can't say enough about TRU Electric! Lauryn/Rob
