Dr. Huang helped my family and I decide on what to do for our 15 year old dog, and we are grateful we came from surrey to get the closure we needed. My dog was suffering with her organs declining and was in a very very bad state. I originally wanted a second opinion on the blood results we had got from another vet. But I felt our visit was so brief and did not feel adequate with the way we were left. Dr. Huang took great care with her check-up. She was very intentional with everything. She walked through in detail her blood results, explained terms simply, and sat us through with patience, as my family members had many questions. She did not let us leave without a proper plan, and we decided to keep our dog for one more night before euthanizing her. Our dog passed away last night after the pain-relief injection, but we were glad we got to spend one more night with her. Were grateful and thankful for this clinic. I will definitely come again if I ever decide to have another pet.

Outstanding Surgical Care and Compassion for Our 16 years old fur baby Flicka Our experience with Dr. Manjot Sran and the entire team at Trout Lake Animal Hospital during a very difficult time was nothing short of exceptional. Last June, our baby, Flicka, suffered an accident that required urgent FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery. From the moment we rushed her in, we felt supported. Dr. Sran explained the complex FHO procedure with remarkable clarity and empathy, outlining both the surgery and the critical recovery journey ahead. His confidence and expertise immediately eased our fears. The surgery itself was a success, but what truly sets Trout Lake apart is their comprehensive aftercare and genuine compassion. The entire team provided detailed guidance for Flicka's physical therapy and pain management at home, and they were always just a phone call away for our many worried questions. Most importantly, they treated Flicka with incredible tenderness. They celebrated her small milestones with us. Seeing her walk and play again, pain-free, is a testament to Dr. Sran's skill and the whole team's dedication. We are also so pleased to hear of the hospital's exciting move to a new location. This well-deserved expansion will allow them to continue their wonderful work in a brand-new space, and we send our warmest congratulations! We are forever grateful for the expert, kind, and life-changing care they provided to our furry family member. Latest update, the doctor didn't contact me at all. The date we went to the clinic is Jan5, and today is Jan21 I sent them a complaint email the day after, this is how they handle the situation! They said they would call me for a follow-up after my complaint, but I never received any call. Instead, they later emailed saying they were too busy as an emergency clinic and that the doctor would contact me next week. The way this situation was handled is honestly disturbing. Being ignored after raising serious medical and billing concerns makes you feel completely dismissed as a client. My cat had slightly watery and swollen eyes, so I took her to this veterinary clinic. All I wanted was a simple eye check and some eye drops, just to make sure there wasn’t any scratch or injury that we might have missed. However, the whole process took a very long time. When the vet finally came in, they didn’t even properly examine my cat’s eyes, no lifting the eyelids, no temperature check, no basic physical exam. The vet just took a quick look and then left. After that, the nurse came back with a bill of over $600, including blood work, a physical exam, and a urine test. I told them clearly that I only wanted her eyes checked. In the end, I still had to pay over $200. They never considered that we don’t currently have pet insurance, and no one properly explained the test results to us. The nurse simply brought out the medication. When I asked what the results were, I was told very vaguely that there was no scratch. The medication they prescribed also felt unnecessary, including oral painkillers. My cat was only slightly swollen in one eye and was otherwise perfectly fine: she could eat, run, and jump as usual. I really question whether all of this medication was necessary. Overall, this experience made me feel extremely uncomfortable. What should have been a simple eye check turned into a costly visit with unnecessary procedures. It honestly felt like they were just trying to treat us as a ATM. The whole experience was very unprofessional, and I definitely won’t be going back.

We’ve had a great experience at this clinic. They are flexible with scheduling and very accommodating. All staff have been kind and patient with our dog. Also, when our dog had a relapse around the holidays, the doctor made sure to give us a call and listened to our concerns and guided us through adjusting medication and making sure our dog is comfortable. We’ve spoken to Dr Huang and Dr Ward, and both have been very helpful and friendly. We also had a situation in which our dog could no longer proceed with the service we previously paid for. The front desk staff and the management were extremely compassionate and accommodating. I’m pleasantly surprised and very grateful and can confirm that this clinic puts their animal patients and their human families first.

My puppy got seen quickly and staff was very efficient and helped ease my concerns. The treatment prescribed has helped my puppy a lot and I'm so happy to see her get better. Everyone who was working on 10/7 at 8pm-closing. All amazing! They were very friendly to my puppy which made her trust them
