I’ve been going to Kaori for over 10 years, and I can honestly say she’s amazing! She’s actually the reason I started coming to Tokyo Allure. Kaori is so professional and attentive—every haircut turns out exactly how I imagined. Even when she washes my hair, she’s super careful and has never once gotten my collar wet! I’ve recommended her to so many friends, and they all still follow her because she’s that good. If you want a hairstylist who really listens, knows what they’re doing, and makes you feel cared for, Kaori is the one.

Got a haircut with Takashi. Salon space was comfortable and peaceful. He was patient with the consultation and really listened to what I wanted. I have thick, straight balayaged hair that I wanted to remove some weight from. We decided on a layered hair cut with curtain bangs and face-framing side pieces. He really took his time with the scissor work, even with all the hair I had. Very thorough shampooing and detailing at the end, making sure my bangs were perfect. Friendly and knowledgeable. Total for cut + shampoo + blowdry + tip was $65-70 CAD and very worth it. Can't recommend him and this salon enough!

This is the worst experience ever, they totally ruined my hair. I am traveling to Vancouver to visit my friends and family for Christmas. Right before I came here, I dyed my hair to a very nice hybrid pastel light pink color. In order to keep this color, I bought the pink shampoo from the hair salon, which I know is working because my friend uses the same one to maintain her light pink. When I’m in here, I wanted to get my hair washed, so I found this salon which is closed to me. In my reservation, I specifically mentioned that I have pink hair and want to maintain this color. I eventually got my hair washed using own pink shampoo, but when I look into the mirror after the wash, my heart broke. THEY TOTALLY RUINED MY HAIR. It turns to a very vibrant pink dragon fruit color. This is after I specifically said to NOT MAKE MY HAIR TOO PINK. They are totally not responsible, not professional, after I told her that my hair is too pink, she said that the color will be lighter after the dry even tho we both know it’s not. They didn’t offer any remedy to this situation, and I have to meet my friend looking like a dragonfruit. I beg everyone not to come here especially if you have a light color hair you love. Just to response to the hair dresser’s comment. I brought the pink shampoo because I’m not sure if appropriate product will be available in store. I never asked you to specifically only use that product, and you didn’t ask me if I want to use that only. As a hair dresser, especially someone who used this product before (you told me this when I pass you the product), you should have know that pink shampoo needs to be diluted before applied based on the color of the hair you want it to be. Before washing, I specifically said that “I don’t want my hair to be too pink, I just want to maintain it”. Due to the trust I have towards you as a professional hair dresser, I expected you to know how to use a pink shampoo, but obviously I shouldn’t.

I never write reviews but I will because this is overdue and the hairstylist that I come for deserves 10+ stars. I have been going to this place for the past ten or so years and Atsushi has perfected every single haircut. For reference, I am very picky and I would switch stylists at any inconvenience (I'm a woman with medium to long hair, my hair is important). He is extremely skilled, proffessional and very underrated. Thank you Atsushi! You are awesome!

Aya is my hair stylish. She is really good. Very nice personality too. Sometimes when she is not available, I go with Kaori. She is as good as Aya . My husband and my daughter also go to Tokyo Allure. They love it too . Highly recommended Tokyo Allure.
