I went to a massage place this morning and had a one-hour massage. It was my first time here. The environment is nice and the service of the masseuse was also good. The price was reasonable. Her name is Helen. She was very nice to me and did a great job on the massage! Should be there next time

Kimmy – Personal: 0/5 Ambience: 3/5 Professionalism: 0/5 Value: 0/5 I recently visited Tokyo Massage and had a very disappointing experience. From the beginning, I was pushed by the front desk staff to choose Kimmy, even though I repeatedly asked which therapist was better. I asked three times, and each time the staff insisted, saying, “You should try Kimmy, you never know unless you try.” I trusted their recommendation, which turned out to be a big mistake. During the massage, I felt uncomfortable almost immediately. Kimmy kept saying, “This is extra, that is extra,” constantly pushing paid add-ons. The massage itself was terrible and unprofessional. I left feeling very upset and disappointed. Later, I called the spa to speak with the owner or manager. The person who answered said neither was available. When I called again to file a complaint, I was told, “I am the manager today.” Instead of offering a refund or taking responsibility, she simply said, “Come next time, I promise you better service.” That is not acceptable. A manager should offer a refund or at least a free replacement service—especially when a therapist already has many bad reviews. After reading the reviews, I realized Kimmy has received a lot of negative feedback. I truly wish I had read them before going. If management already knows a therapist has many complaints, why continue to push customers to choose her? I walked out feeling like a bad person, even though I was the one receiving poor service. This place lacks professionalism and accountability. If you are looking for bad vibes and terrible service, Tokyo Massage especially Kimmy is the place to go. Otherwise, I strongly recommend not going there. I will definitely not return.

I live in Burnaby and have been going to Tokyo for many years. Always easy parking and location beside hannam market. Owner always treats you with professionalism and respect and girls are always kind and respectful and treat me well as long I reciprocate. I really think it’s unfair to point out girls. You don’t know what’s going on in their lives and it’s a tough job. For example I’ve seen Kimmy 3 times and each time she’s been straight forward and honest with me and as long as I treat her with respect. She does too. She’s always so fun to chat with and makes my day better. To those that choose to write negatives reviews clearly out of pettiness and disrespect. Take your false reviews elsewhere. I stick with Tokyo and Angela’s. Best spa in town!

Totally different experience from “Alex aman” review above. I’ve been going to see Kimmy for years and she always treats me with as much respect and kindness as I treat her. Don’t expect to abuse girls and do everything you want. Kimmy is so beautiful and kind and always puts me at ease. I could not recommend her enough for a relaxing time. I was so appalled at “Alex” review I had to write again. He’s a known trouble maker at other spas too. If you want to use the service. Have some respect. Love Tokyo :)

Very Disappointing Experience I met Kimmy aroun 12:00 pm today for a one-hour massage, but she was very rushed and she was very rude to me throughout the session. I had a really bad massage experience with her. The service was extremely unprofessional and far below what I expect from a spa. The massage felt careless, with no proper technique or appropriate pressure. She didn’t listen to what I asked for and seemed distracted the entire time. There was no effort to make me feel relaxed or comfortable, and the whole session felt like a waste of time and money. I left feeling more tense than when I arrived. This was honestly one of the worst massages I’ve had, and I would not recommend booking with her. The spa seriously needs to improve the quality of service and training. I'm very disappointed I met Kimmy .
