Three Step Fitness in Coquitlam provides science-based integrative training for all age groups. The program combines physiotherapy, fitness, Pilates and personal training to address biomechanical alignment and overall wellness. Clients receive a full physical examination of joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons and nerves to create personalized plans that integrate exercise with nutrition and rehabilitation. The staff includes a physiotherapist who guides the process from diagnosis through plan development. The program is designed for injury recovery and performance optimization.

I really enjoy my weekly pilates routine at Three Step. The location has 4 reformers which provides a very personalized experience with the trainers. The employees are all very knowledgeable and experienced, as well as energetic and excited to help you reach your goals. They won't go easy on you - show up expecting to work hard! There are classes for all levels of experience - Korean and English speaking. I highly recommend Ella's team!

Great team , very dedicated to getting you back where you were and better. They truly take each session serious. No time wasted. Always pushing you forward. It’s the best way to heal. The equipment there is perfect to rehabilitate. Very professional group. They even motivated me to buy a Pilate barrel. Cheers to three step fitness.

Before I found Ella, my physical condition was actually quite poor. I have a history of lumbar disc herniation, and there was a time when my lower back pain was so severe that I needed to wear a back brace just to stand upright and function normally. In addition, I have had a long-standing knee issue for over ten years. Due to a lack of proper exercise and insufficient muscle support, my knee would frequently partially dislocate, and my overall condition was very unstable.After starting one-on-one Pilates training with Ella, she carefully tailored each session to my specific physical condition and guided me through a safe, progressive program to rebuild my core and lower-body strength. After about six months of consistent training, I experienced a noticeable improvement in muscle strength, as well as significantly better stability in both my lower back and knees. Beyond the training itself, Ella also provided thoughtful guidance on improving my diet and recommended appropriate vitamin and mineral supplementation. These adjustments made a meaningful difference to my overall health, and even my sleep quality improved noticeably. I am now able to participate in group Pilates classes—something I would never have imagined being possible before. At Three Step Fitness, I have had the opportunity to attend group classes with Tracy and Elaine, both of whom are highly professional, friendly, and patient instructors.The class atmosphere is supportive and encouraging, and the instructors are attentive to every participant. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the professionalism, personalized approach, and holistic focus on health at Three Step Fitness. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their physical condition in a safe, effective, and sustainable way.

Ella is an outstanding Pilates instructor with exceptional knowledge and professionalism! With a background in sports science and a deep understanding of body mechanics, she quickly recognizes each client’s physical condition and tailors every session with precision and care. I had a previous spinal fracture and ongoing neck and shoulder issues, and Ella immediately identified my body’s imbalances and guided me through customized movements that eased pain and improved mobility. Her energy, passion, and attention to detail make every class both challenging and rewarding. I truly trust her expertise and highly recommend her to anyone seeking real, lasting results. If Pilates has never quite clicked for you, take just one session with Ella. You’ll finally understand what effective, body-aware training truly feels like.

I’ve heard so many amazing things about the positive impact Pilates has on the body, and my experiences with Ella only confirmed them. I’ve completed Lagree more than 30 sessions, but Ella’s session at three step fitness was standout. Lagree in my opinion, offers a more workout. Three Step Fitness with Ella’s guidance made all the difference. Such as, After just a few sessions, I noticed my face looking more symmetrical and a total reset of my nervous system—something I’ve never felt with hot yoga or meditation. If you’re considering an instructor, I highly recommend Ella. She truly makes your health transformative.
