Highly suggest steering clear from this place. Summary: Awful experience, poor quality, and I was turned away from receiving further service! I am not one to leave reviews, but feel compelled to educate others on the terrible service I received. I tend to leave 5 stars for businesses who do a great job and I’m loyal to. This is the first 1-star I’ve left, and it is very warranted. I took my dress shirts and pants there a couple times. Then, I brought 3 dress shirts again that had been cleaned there before. For some reason, all 3 returned with brown/orange stains to the underarms of all shirts. One in particular was very bad - almost like an oily solvent was used - essentially ruining the shirt. (This experience is similar to other reviewers.) I was shocked as this has never happened to me before with these shirts. I took the shirts back but they told me I had to come back on a Friday to speak with the manager. The workers couldn’t help me. So I returned again and the manager agreed to “work on them”. This took about 3-4 weeks. I needed those shirts for work and was surprised at the very long turn around time. Received them back with some improvement, but was still disappointed with the poor customer service. I returned to give them a second chance, and I was told that “I cannot be provided service here anymore”. I wasn’t given a reason for being turned away. I was again told to come back on a Friday to speak with the manager…not again! Probably for the best since I was searching for a much better dry cleaner anyway, but my goodness - never had this poor of an experience! Buyer beware, I suggest taking your business elsewhere. Do not risk your valuable items getting ruined.

My experience with Valetor Cleaners was absolutely SATISFYING . They doing an excellent job , I had an expensive white stained shit that I wasn't sure if it could be saved but they did a great job and the stain disappeared completely. I highly recommend Valetor Cleaners , great job , affordable prices , pretty fast . If you looking for a dry cleaning give it a try. They are located on 2391 Burrard str with 8th , easy parking in front of the store or on the side street of the store.

They did an incredible job patching a large and awkward hole in my favourite pair of Levi’s! You can’t even tell it’s there when wearing them. Would recommend

My husband went to have his pants altered a month ago. He has had every pair of jeans hemmed for over 20 years. He decided to try Valetor as they were close by. As he always does, he requested a Euro hem, or the hem to look like the original denim hem. When he picked them up, the hem looked cheap and as though a student had done it. The personal altering simply cut it shorter and put one thread line through it. When we went back, she had thankfully kept the original hem and said she would fix it. When we picked them up, they were so short you could see my husband's socks. We returned and advised we would need full compensation for the pants along with a refund of the cost. Although brainstorming she then offered to " cut my husband's pants into shorts" this was not helpful. She is limited due to management and even offered to refund my husband out of her own pocket. We feel the business should refund and not their employees. We asked to speak with owner, but every time we called they told us to call back. We asked for them to call us, but they have not. Unfortunately we will need to file a complaint to the BBB. UPDATE: After 2 weeks of trying to get a hold of the manager, who refused to call us back, my husband was finally able to speak with her in store. She was polite and said she had a solution. We figured it was worth one more go as there was no going back. In the end, they decided to cut the sides of the jeans asking my husband to wear them lower so they weren't so short. This was clearly unacceptable. When we asked again for the compensation of the pants, the manager refused and was awfully confrontational with us due to this review. She didn't even want to refund us for the cost of the alteration. After over a month, about 6 visits back and forth, they only refunded us the $40 for the alteration. BEWARE of this place, because there is no ownership if mistakes are made. The person who did the alteration is human and made a simple mistake, but it's been at our expense. I've never known a business to lack so much in customer service and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Had a really disappointing experience here. My seamstress brought my brand new slip silk wedding dress in for dry cleaning before the big day. It had never been worn and only needed light cleaning, but because it was white and labeled “wedding,” they charged a ridiculous amount—way more than what I’ve paid in the past to clean similar silk dresses. But the worst part? When I opened the plastic wrap on my wedding day, I found the entire lower back area of the dress covered in small brownish spots, some larger dirty-looking marks, and one big greasy-looking stain—like from an oily solvent or something. Total panic moment. I didn’t even have time to take proper photos because we were rushing. Thankfully, the long veil and the natural sheen of the silk helped hide the mess, but I still keep thinking… what if those stains were on the front? I honestly don’t know how a business can charge that much, return a stained wedding dress, and still operate like that’s okay. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Telling everyone I know to avoid this place.
