We had a positive overall experience working with The Love Team for our wedding. From an administrative and coordination standpoint, the team was professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, which we truly appreciated. On the wedding day, the team was kind and supportive. Vivian was my main artist, and was great to work with. Coco, in particular, was wonderful during my evening touch-up. She was attentive, thoughtful, and did a wonderful job refreshing my makeup and hair. Her calm presence was such a comfort! The morning hair and makeup went smoothly, and everyone was pleasant to work with as we got ready. Overall, I really appreciated The Love Team's support leading up to the wedding. I would not hesitate in recommending them!

Overall, I had a great experience with The Love Team. There was a small timing misunderstanding at the beginning, but the team was very understanding and handled it professionally by offering another star artist who could accommodate my schedule. Although I wasn’t able to do a second trial with the new artist (Clarice) due to budget, I was extremely happy with the final result—even without a trial. I actually liked the day-of makeup more than my original trial. Clarice truly listened and did an amazing job balancing my vision while offering thoughtful suggestions to elevate the look. I never felt rushed or pressured on the day of our banquet dinner and was pleased to have worked with her. Would definitely recommend Clarice.

I was very overwhelmed by the decision to select a HMUA for my wedding day, because I knew that if something went wrong there, it would impact the entire day and my mood as a bride. My photographer also noted that "If you don't like your hair & makeup, you'll hate how you look in pictures" which I took to heart. So, I took my time inquiring with several different artists & companies and ultimately made the decision to go with The Love Team, as I know several friends and acquaintances have used them in the past and all had glowing reviews. My assigned artist was Alison and I really enjoyed working with her. She was responsive, flexible, and provided tips to help with my sensitive skin and eczema. She understood my vision when I showed her inspiration pics for both hair & makeup, and was able to adapt that to my face shape and skin tone. The trial was helpful for me so I could understand what to expect, as someone who's never gotten their hair & makeup done professionally. Alison worked efficiently, yet was patient and took the time to check in. I ended up loving the final look for both my trial and wedding day, and she also did my mom's makeup beautifully. Since their team is quite a large collective of individual artists, I do think one's experience can depend on the artist that is assigned, which poses a bit of an unknown (unless you request a specific artist). However, I believe all TLT artists and admin team operate on a baseline level of professionalism that is high standard. I also appreciated the transparency on their website, contracts / invoices, and all-around communication. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience and would recommend The Love Team. Vera was absolutely incredible! She took the time to really understand my vision, my dress, and my personal preferences, and she brought it all together beautifully on the wedding day. I ended up changing my look from what we did at the trial, and Vera adapted seamlessly — the final result was even better than I imagined! My hair and makeup looked stunning and lasted all day. She’s not only talented but also so calm, kind, and professional to be around on such a busy morning. I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist — highly recommend the Love Team to any bride!

The Love Team was absolutely amazing to work with! They were communicative, organized, and so accommodating to any adjustments I made throughout the entire planning process. I asked for hair extensions and the instructions were an easy pick up and communication. They were so great at matching my hair colour and giving me recommendations on length, style, and hair care before the big day. My makeup artist, Nora, was the sweetest! She listened carefully to my feedback and made precise adjustments to ensure I felt completely comfortable. I really appreciated how she understood that details like eyebrows and eyeliner are very personal; she was flexible in letting me do certain parts myself while still tying everything together beautifully. Nora worked seamlessly off inspiration photos, but also added her own touch to give me a look that felt authentically “me” while also elevated with a bridal glow that stood out without feeling overdone. The Love Team is clearly experience; they even sent prep instructions in advance and were so versatile in creating different hair and makeup styles for my bridesmaids and family. My bridesmaids were all doing cartwheels after because they were so excited with how their looks went! They left us with extra powder and emergency pins and such to touch up throughout the day. The most important thing I learned in wedding planning and expectations is that a vendor that you can wholeheartedly trust and feel confident in to take care of you on your big day is the most valuable thing in wedding planning! I felt fully confident with my communication and putting my trust in Nora and The Love Team and would wholeheartedly recommend them as vendors for your own wedding hair and makeup!
