I have been learning here for close to 2 years. Honestly it's one of the best decisions I have made. The self growth and love that comes along with training is incredible. Friendly welcoming environment and the coaches are amazing people. Highly recommend!! 10/10 I feel like part of the family. ❤️❤️

Visiting from Ontario and my daughter convinced me to give a woman’s class a try. I was pretty reluctant being 61 and not in great shape but found it to be a very supportive environment for trying something new . Thanks Coach Andrew for taking it easy on me!

This gym is great! Coach Andrew (Along with Mitch, Lance, and Allison) is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He’s welcoming to everyone, regardless of experience or age. He offers a variety of classes for kids and adults, and all of them are excellent. I had no experience when I first joined, but now I feel like part of the family. Don’t be afraid to show up and give it your best—everyone is there to help, and no one is trying to outshine anyone else. Whether you’re curious about kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, or just want to stay active, this is a fantastic place to start. I was nervous at first, but after my first class I couldn’t get enough. Come give it a try!

I travel frequently for work so being able to train martial arts while on the road is a way to keep me active and fill a bit of that social battery by meeting new people with the same interests. It is generally the highlight of these trips and helps reduce the loneliness of being on the road. I booked the class via their online platform which also held the waiver. Very quick and easy. Arriving early I caught a bit of the kids class. The coaches were very attentive to what was going on with the kids. I was greeted with smiles and nods by the students and enjoyed a little banter before class. I introduced myself to Andrew and was advised that the first class is free. So if anyone has never tried but was thinking about it. Go do it. Class is well run with coaches observing and providing advice as needed. It was a solid workout. Lots of fun practical drills and pad work. I also sparred with the class and I believe you can learn much about a person via sparring. Sparring with coach Andrew, I could tell he is very skilled, and practices what he preaches to the class. “Playful” was the word he used and it very much encompasses the tone and feel of that word. I could “play” without worry of getting clobbered and finished the round feeling safe and having fun. This is actually highest level of learning. The tone is set at the top and the students also embody this principle. One of the students mentioned that is he was doing this as a kid he would probably have been a terror at school, to which Andrew replied “well you wouldn’t have been training here then.” Martial arts schools generally weed out personalities that are not well equipped to handle the capabilities they are being given. I think the reasons for this are obvious. I appreciate hearing teachers embodying these core tenants. I would have no trouble training here or sending my kids here, they have my full confidence in doing things the right way. Thank you for the classes. 🙏
