This hotel is in dire need of a renovation which they are in the midst of doing. However, renovating doesn’t mean you stop cleaning the main areas of the hotel. The floors were not vacuumed once in our area (the new renovated rooms) of the hotel while we were there (mar 2-4/26). The tile at the outdoor area of the pool is crumbling horribly and making its way into the water. Wrecks the vibe when you are stepping on concrete bits while walking in the pool. We asked for extra pillows for our bed and were given the runaround for over a day. When we asked for the third time (in person because the guest services line always rings busy) we were told the hotel has zero extra pillows because all of the extra pillows were sent to the reserve. What hotel doesn’t have extra pillows for their guests? Given this is a healing waters spa, you would think they have considered possible health issues of their guests perhaps needing an extra pillow or two for supported sleep. The only pro of our visit was our male housekeeper. I’m sad I didn’t get his name but he went above and beyond to provide a solution for us. We won’t be coming back until some major changes are made. This is unfortunate as we have been coming for decades. The cost of a room here is not supported by the services provided. Thankfully Dakota Dunes is opening something similar in Saskatoon which we will be supporting!

I am very disappointed with the service i am receiving from Temple Gardens staff. I left a bag of personal belongings in our room on Dec 11th. I called on the evening of the 12th, the 13th. I had my friend call on the 16 and 17 as I was leaving to go out of the country. I had a friend from Moose Jaw call and go to the spa twice. We kept being sent to leave a message for housekeeping and housekeeping never returns any calls, management never follows up. I would really like my property returned. Our room was comfortable, very hot though and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. It really needs some upkeep. The spa itself was fantastic. Feb 27. Still waiting for some hotel concession.

If I could give this hotel a zero star I would!! Our mom group of 6 booked a night at the spa as a get away for Feb 15th. The hotel was booked over a month in advance to ensure we were able to get room. When we arrived we were told they had no reservations for us! They had booked the hotel for Feb 13th!!! The only thing they got right was the name; the credit card, email and phone number and booked date were all wrong!!!! Whoever booked this reservation needs a lesson in how to write information down correctly!!!! They then claimed there was no accommodations left at the hotel. After talking to the manager she didn't even offer to find us another hotel and she didn't seem to care that they had screwed up our reservations! And to top it off she was going to charge us to use the spa because we weren't guests!!! I will NEVER go back to this place nor do I recommend it to anyone!! The customer service is horrible and the hotel itself is dated and run down! Don't waste your time at this hotel, find anywhere but here!!!!! WOW! The reply from the owner is a clear example of the horrendous customer service! A snarky remark of "The further error with the email address would mean that you did not receive a confirmation. Had you got that, you might well have seen that the date was different." Really??? Had your staff actually done their job and gotten the information correct we would have received an email! How can you lay blame on the customer when it was the booking person that got all the information incorrect! Again, I highly recommend you DO NOT waste your time going to this place, the customer service is abysmal!

The price does not match the quality of the hotel. We were in a renovated room which was nice but still had a little rust around the edges in some areas like the window, heater and bathroom. But outside of the room the hotel was dirty and dated with disgusting carpet, ugly "under construction" paper signs stuck on the wall and peeling wallpaper in the hallways. There is no breakfast included and no great breakfast options communicated beyond the informal cafe on site with no posted menu on their website or in the rooms. They also do not note anywhere if room service is an option or make it feel easy to order in. I feel this area of food service is lacking. The staff are kind, not above and beyond or anything but still kind. The manicure and pedicure at the spa is overpriced for what you get, wish I would have tried a different service instead. The pool is a great temperature and is clean. Some of the tile is getting a little old and has minor raises and chipping in it. The late adult only swim time is nice. Wish there were more included experiences to make it a quality spa experience beyond just the pool and steam room. Overall I feel like the entire experience was just grossly overpriced for what was delivered and the hotel is in need of major upgrades or price reduction. It would be okay to come swim for the day but not worth it to stay at the hotel.

This was such an extraordinary trip for us, I hope I can do it justice! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was absolutely AMAZING, the tub was out of this world, but maybe a little tough to get in when you're short in stature lol. The service was quite literally the best I think I've ever experienced, no problems there at all, and the location: WOW. I think that speaks for itself. We always felt safe in the hotel and parking lot. The food was so so good and we ate there literally the entire time. The spa was SUPER courteous and professional and I would go there every fricken day if I could (thank you Elizabeth!!) There's nothing I can point out that I would like to change..... ok maybe if it was possible it would've been cool if there would've been help to bring in the bags??? But I totally get why that wasn't offered. Thank you Temple Gardens!!!

My niece just treated us to a multi-generational memory-making weekend at Temple Gardens. We had a newly renovated family room from Jan 14-Jan 18. The room was spacious and inviting. The pool itself was pure bliss…so very relaxing and clean and warm. Spa services were used by our group and everyone was very pleased. From booking-to-checkout (and everything in between) the staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. How lucky we are to have this spa locally! Highly recommend it…💞 THANK YOU to the Temple Gardens team — a job well done. 🙏

Had an amazing stay at Temple Garden Hotel and Spa for a hockey tournament in Moose Jaw! The newly renovated rooms were fantastic, and the staff was super friendly. A huge thanks to Shelly, the spa supervisor, for arranging a group spa day for 8 hockey moms and finding extra masseuses to accommodate us. Chloe also provided top-notch service—so professional and incredibly attentive! I can’t recommend this place enough—it's the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Stayed for a hockey tournament. Very comfortable rooms. The pool was nice but not the "fun" sort of pool our kids were looking for. The Cafe had very good sandwiches, etc. Also enjoyed sitting by the pool having an adult beverage. We tried the restaurant on the first night but they really weren't equipped to handle a hockey team. The kids were well behaved by our estimation but maybe a bit animated for this type of restaurant. One of our group showed up a bit after us and were told that they couldn't handle any more of us. We didn't try that restaurant again. The chicken I had was fantastic though! We'd come back for a different kind of stay to fully enjoy the facility.

We had a really terrible time here. It almost made my elderly mother cry. She had coupons, so we thought we should use them up. The first problem was the room. The beds were fine, comfortable. But the temperature, even with the heater off was way too hot. And we couldn’t even cool it down with a window open. The second issue was my mom’s mobility issues. She has a bad hip, and couldn’t move that good. Stairs were not an option for her, and you had to wait 10 minutes for the elevator. She has trouble getting off chairs, and couldn’t stand that long. That was a major issue. Then when the elevator finally stopped, you had to use a card to access it. And both our cards stopped working after we used them in the elevator. We couldn’t get into our room! We were across from the main building and accessed it via skywalk. If we wanted a room in the main building, we had to pay more. An extra $34.00 plus taxes, so about an extra $50.00, would be charged because they were renovated. And we are not the wealthiest. We had no idea we would be that far away from the lobby. And my mother couldn’t even get back downstairs by herself to get new cards. The main receptionist argued with her on the phone that nobody could come up and help her for maybe 15 minutes, and then quickly came and helped. There was only 1 person watching the main desk! They seem understaffed. Parking was horrible! We are main downtown, and while easy to find, you have to learn times and grapple with daytime swimmers who aren’t hotel guests. Swimmers can park where hotel guests do also, so that meant farther away parking spots and more pain for my poor mom. Both of us were also sick, so we were suffering during our trip while it is supposed to be a relaxing getaway, like they said. The pool was nice, but overcrowded at times. Make sure you get to know the popular times day swimmers get let in, if you don’t want it to be too busy. They also speculated perhaps that there might be bedbugs, there was no guarantee there weren’t. However, luckily we didn’t find any. The restaurant and pool was lovely. Do yourself a favour, stay at another hotel if you have mobility issues, are a senior with some issues, or are just feeling unwell. Head to another hotel and just come to use the pool or restaurant. The restaurant was the main highlight. The food is delicious, 5 star and would definitely recommend. We will not be returning! If you are new to Moose Jaw and want a taste of downtown life and a hotel, then for sure check it out for the experience if curious. But I’m warning you, it has really gone downhill since a couple of years ago.

We have been coming to this hotel for years, and this the most disappointing experience we have had. The room is very standard, exactly what we are used to at this hotel. Dated, but the beds are comfy and the room was clean. Unfortunately, we were on the 5th floor and it was boiling hot in the room. It was minus 20 outside and we had the air conditioner going in the room just to cool it down a bit. Otherwise, the room was fine. The reason our experience was poor was due to the Suntree Spa & Harwood restaurant. We come to this hotel solely for the spa & a couples massage, which we have enjoyed in the past. We got a phone call 15 minutes before our massage saying that they could only accommodate one of us, as an RMT had called in sick. Totally understandable, but very unfortunate. I went for the massage while my husband went to the pool. It was a horrible experience. I was put in a room that was right outside the nail area and it was extremely loud. The bright lights were on the whole time. It was not a relaxing experience at all unfortunately. For the steep cost, I was very disappointed. Finally, we had a horrible experience at the hotel restaurant, Harwoods. We waited 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. When we finally got a table, we had to repeatedly ask for the same things over again (coffee, honey for tea, waters which we never ended up getting). My oatmeal had parsley in it, and from the time we got there to the time we left was 75 minutes. At checkout, I was asked how our experience was. I was very honest about our stay, hoping for some kind of compensation/apology. However, the response I got was that they don’t have any control over the suntree spa or the restaurant. We used to love the spa for a quick getaway, but unfortunately we won’t be returning.
