We have used Taproots Plumbing & Heating since 2010 for all of our plumbing and heating needs. With several rental properties to take care of, it seems like we are always needing something fixed. Most recently our furnace packed it in and we needed emergency furnace service. We had a new furnace installed within 24 hours and the bill was as quoted. We would recommend Taproots for anything plumbing or furnace related in Metro Vancouver.

We have had Tap Roots at our home in Ladner a number of times for various plumbing repairs, they have always been good, arrived on time, polite and knowledgeable. However, once the cold weather hit, our living room floor which is hot water radiant heat, was not heating. One plumber came and flushed the lines and did a routine check with hopes of heat. As with radiant heat, it is a waiting game to find out if you have heat in the floor, so the next morning, there was no heat, so I called Tap Roots back and they had a plumber here the next day. Bill arrived on time, listened to my assessment of what was wrong, and what had been done, then he proceeded to trouble shoot the furnace, checking valves, heat temperature and the like, and he didn't stop until he found the problem, he was determined to get us heat, and he found debris in the line and cleaned it out, he checked everything and said he wasn't leaving until he found the source of the problem. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and amazingly smart when it came to boiler systems. We are so grateful that he was able to troubleshoot our problem, otherwise we would be installing a 220V heater in our living room with a concrete slab, expensive to install and expensive to operate. So thank you Bill for your persistence and excellent service that you provided because we are so happy to have a warm house for the Christmas season. We will continue to use TapRoots in the future for all of our plumbing needs and maintenance of our boiler. I can't recommend them highly enough, if you need any kind of plumbing service, give them a call, you won't be disappointed. Trust Me. I needed a plumber for my house in Richmond so I called this plumbing company. I needed a few parts, so they had to leave and come back, but the service was actually pretty good. As with any trade, it always costs a bit more than you would like, but it was less than the 1800 company and exactly what I was quoted. I would recommend Taproots for home owners looking for affordable plumbing repairs.

The pilot light on my furnace went out and it was time for a clean so I called this furnace repair company. Two guys showed up, one was training and they were very polite and clean. The job itself was simple, took less than an hour and I was charged less than another company I got a quote from. I would recommend this company to people in Richmond.

Our furnace didn’t turn on after the summer being off so we called this furnace repair company. The lady on the phone was so friendly and the guy who showed up was clean and helpful. It turned out it was a simple fix and it cost less than we were expecting so we would recommend this hvac company Richmond home owners.
