I recently was shopping around for dental quotes for my chihuahuas. Some vets would refuse to even give a rough estimate over the phone, thankfully the Taber Pet Clinic did give me one over the phone. They couldnt give me an accurate one but at least an estimate. It was a significant enough difference for me to book the dental exam with them. I was very pleasantly surprised by our dental exam visit. Not only were the prices very reasonable, the level of communication was absolutely amazing. They didnt just tell me my dog needed her teeth cleaned (which i knew, but wasnt told much beyond that from our regular vet), they examined her mouth with me, explained their findings, explained the estimate and why they had each item on it, and they also credit the dental exam visit fee toward the dental. Come the day of the dental, not only did they do another exam on her with me there to ensure she was feeling her best, but the communication again was out of this world. They called me once they had finished the radiography and explained what they would bs doing. They let me know how she was doing and that things were going well. Once her dental was complete they called me again to let me know that she was out of surgery and when we could pick her up (again my regular vet does not do this.) When my husband picked up our dog, they showed him the xrays, explained how everything went, gave detailed instructions on meds (also written on our recipt), they also gave us a sample of dental food. Our experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Not only did our dog receive a much needed dental, we knew what was happening the entire time, and we felt safe knowing she was in their care. I would 100% recommend Taber Pet Clinic to anyone needing care for their pet. I also realized how much I was lacking with our regular vet after such a great experience with so much transparency.

Normally my star rating is 4-5 I love Bonnie’s vet-she’s the best So caring I’m only letting you know that if your pet needs a prescription that can be filled at your own pharmacy please do so Way cheaper

Very good experience with the clinic. They treated my dog (porcupine quills) very quickly. They explained everything in detail. They also did not treat me like I did not know anything about dog treatment. Very positive experience since I was from out of town.

Always recommend your vet clinic, since our first visit with Kona almost 10 years ago. We love the care Kona gets from everyone there, Kona loves it too. It’s worth the drive from Lethbridge for me just for the peace of mind of knowing Kona is very comfortable with going to see the doctor, even if it involves touching her bum 😂. Thank you guys for such good care of my fur baby!

We've taken our baby girl here for the last 5.5 years since moving to Taber. The staff is kind and considerate and they give great care for your babies when they need to stay for treatments. If your pet has special dietary needs they bring the food for you. On our final visit they gave us and our 20yr old kitty the dignity and respect we needed. Privacy for the initial mourning and as much time for final good-byes. If one day we have a pet again we'd be happy to bring them here for medical care. Thank you for all your love and care for our pets.
