Late last year, I was contracted to Sunik Roofing by my solar panel company and certainly did not choose them myself - my experience with this company was absolutely disgusting. Apparently Sunik Roofing never communicates with my solar company and I was surprised by a sudden visit from Sunik Roofing employee named "Sheldon." I was not made aware of a roofing staff's visit from anyone, and he showed up to my house one day. When I answered the door, Sheldon didn't even introduce himself whatsoever and only handed a paper to me silently, which I couldn't understand what it was for. When I asked him who he was and why and what he was here for, he couldn't answer my questions, which of course I found him sketchy. This also made him frustrated and he began to swear and argue with me. I sent him away because of his poor behaviour and attitude. When I complained, the project manager was utterly dismissive, stating she had never received complaints against Sheldon before and was completely uninterested in hearing my specific claims. Months later in 2025, I noticed someone was in my backyard when I was home. Again I was not made aware of anyone's visit from anyone - of course not from Sunik Roofing. I confronted this suspicious person and asked him who he was and what he was doing in my backyard and again he failed to introduce his name or who he was working for. I immediately remembered the same interaction from before. When I asked him if he was the person from the last visit, his immediate response was the aggressive and shocking accusation, "Yeah you disrespected me!" Excuse me!? Is that the first word that comes out of a contractor's mouth, showing up at a client's backyard without a heads up and picking a fight with the houseowner in his own backyard? This level of unprofessionalism—starting a client interaction with a personal attack rather than an introduction—is absolutely unacceptable for a company working on people's homes. When I manged to speak to an owner about this on the phone, wow, his attitude was the same, claiming he had never heard bad things about Sheldon and told me "I don't even have to be talking to you right now." Sunik Roofing sent different staff after both two incidents with Sheldon, and they were truly professionals who introduced themselves properly and explained what jobs they had to do on my roof in a friendly manner, so I don't know what this Sheldon guy's issue was, and the management's inability to resolve issues professionally. Sunik Roofing clearly lacks both organizational competence and professional standards for customer-facing staff. I strongly advise any client, especially those contracted by third parties, to insist on another company.

Very pleased with our new roof by Sunik. Lowell was easy to talk to and gave honest advice on what we needed. He also monitored the job and made sure everything went as promised. Job done in two days when he scheduled. Under-promised and over-delivered. Highly recommend!

I was connected with Sunik roofing through my insurance company and have been working with them over the last few months to repair the major hail damage on my house. I’ve had such a wonderful experience with everybody that I’ve dealt with so far. From the start with Marcus, he was absolutely amazing at addressing all my concerns and was extremely thorough and professional, while doing all of the assessments of my home. He was also very honest. He’s always prompt with his response and made me feel comfortable. I’ve also been dealing with Tina who is an absolute pleasure to speak to both on the phone and through emails although they’ve been completely swamped she’s always made sure to give me reasonable timelines and get back to me while also being kind. Lastly we just had a roof completed Brad, Jesse and the rest of the crew we’re kind professional and thorough. Thank you, Sunik For the exceptional customer service!

The Sunik team was extremely helpful and provided a lot of information and support for me and my family to be informed with how best we can repair our roof and home exterior damage. Even though we ultimately decided to follow the recommended company from our insurance company (mainly for ease of managing cost risks amid these difficult economic times, and more simplicity with the insurance company being involved), Sunik Roofing was extremely patient with us and all of our questions. They were very objective and advocated that we choose whatever option/company made the most sense to us, no hard feelings! This, combined with the knowledge from my uncle's glowing review, who was very satisfied with his home repairs from Sunik, leaves me with nothing but the very best recommendation for Sunik! Excellent experience with Sunik for our new roof. Kevin's crew was very professional, completed the job quickly, did an amazing clean up all around the house, and the roof work is top notch. Follow up inspection from Nicholas was excellent, and he made time to answer all of my questions even though he is very busy with many jobs. Final touch ups by Sheldon were also done on a timely and professional basis. I wouldn't use anyone else.
