We had the pleasure of working with Sue as our wedding photographer, and she was amazing from start to finish. Super professional, great communication, and always had a smile on her face—which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. She took the time to really understand what we wanted and built her plan around our needs. She was incredibly flexible and made sure everything felt easy and natural. The location she chose for our off-site photos was perfect—beautiful and exactly what we were hoping for. Sue truly embodies what it means to work with someone experienced. She came fully prepared, from equipment to snacks, and offered support throughout the entire day. We felt so well taken care of. We were so lucky to have Sue as our wedding photographer a couple weeks ago and hiring her was the best decision we made. After being in a close friend’s wedding she shot a few years ago, I knew I wanted Sue to shoot my own wedding one day and she did not disappoint. From our first consult call, Sue went above and beyond to get to know both my fiancé and I and to help us get to know her and her style. She made us feel comfortable and excited, and immediately had some amazing ideas for ways to structure our day that would be great photo moments and also parts of our day that were special to us. Sue was also so helpful throughout the planning process by offering timeline suggestions and ideas to help us have the most incredible day. At our engagement session (at the most stunning location), she quickly loosened us up in the most natural way, and shot some of the most incredible golden hour photos we will cherish forever. On the wedding day, she is the most calming yet commanding presence and made everyone (family, friends, other vendors) feel at ease the moment she arrived. She makes sure everyone is happy, feeling good, and where they need to be on time. The moment she arrived I knew we were in fantastic hands. She had pre-scouted so many location options in and around my venue so the day flowed so seamlessly with Sue, and she is incredible at handling a crowd of family. After seeing the sneak peeks, Sue proved she is a one-of-a-kind talent, specifically with the way she uses flash in low lighting, and just how pristine her photos are. You cannot go wrong with hiring Sue and I can’t wait to find a reason to work with her again.

We had the pleasure of working with Sue Moodie on our engagement and wedding photos. Right from the start Sue was very communicative and enthusiastic about our upcoming wedding. She was easy to reach and scheduled our engagement photos when spring came and weather improved and the results were amazing. My fiance and myself were so happy with the results, and with the photo session itself as Sue’s enthusiasm and positive energy is very infectious! The day of the wedding Sue and her assistant photographer were again such a pleasure to work with. Sue scouted great photo locations ahead of time and the whole day went very smooth. Again Sue brought such a beaming attitude we couldn’t help but smile the whole time. Every wedding guest that encountered Sue during the evening just raved about how wonderful she was and how helpful she was throughout the night. I can’t thank Sue enough for capturing the magic that day, but also for bringing a little magic of her own! Thanks Sue!

We have been so lucky to have Sue capture our most important moments over the past five years. She’s talented, warm, and hilarious and she makes you look how you feel. Sue has been our family portrait photographer since 2016, and we couldn’t imagine working with anyone else. She is detailed, fun, and incredibly friendly—everything you would want in a photographer. Not everyone in our family loves being in front of the camera, but Sue has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, like a close family friend (which she is to us). She connects so naturally with kids, keeps the experience lighthearted, and makes every session enjoyable. Over the years, she has watched our kids grow and even captured the addition of our fur baby, Ziggy, in our most recent session. Sue feels like part of our family, and her photographs reflect that closeness. Professionally, she is outstanding—adaptable, attentive to detail, and consistently delivering beautiful images that we treasure. We highly recommend Sue for any photography needs.
