I have been seeing Dr Atwal for over 15 years now. My spouse + kids have always gone here too. I've recommended many friends + family to come here as well. They've always had incredible service (Mona at the front desk is quite literally the nicest human I've ever met). Dr Atwal is so calming and reassuring and I love her attention to detail, in not just making sure your mouth/teeth are healthy, but that your smile also looks good! (that is important to me!). Shauna has cleaned my children's teeth since they were little and they love her (my daughter in particular won't see anyone else) I would absolutely recommend coming here. Clean, professional but still with that 'at-home/be comfortable' feel when you walk in.

Greeted by front desk as soon as I entered the office. Sat for less than one minute before being called in to exam room. Dentist was in room ready to start procedure. Always checked on my well being during the procedure. Heard the dentist say “ perfect “. This was good to hear, if the dentist was happy with her work I would be too. Thank you to Sturgeon Creek Dental crew. Always a pleasure to visit.

I'm writing this review because of MISINFORMATION, AND PRICE I was given for work I needed to be done this past summer. AS WELL looking at past reviews I'm not the only person who's complaining about your employees making inappropriate comments about how their teeth line up. ? I was only covered by CDCP(Canadian Dental Care Plan). I had came in this past summer for multiple problems that needed to be fixed (fillings, root canal, etc..). Google search and their office confirmed they took this coverage.. they did an X-Ray on me and we made a plan to fix the issues... While doing this BOTH the dentist and helper were both nit picking at my teeth. FORTUNATELY I can be a good sport and laugh off things like this... If this this were someone who had really low self-esteem it would make them feel horrible.. which you as a professional should not be doing.. The first visit there was no work done on me whatsoever. Just the X-Rays. When I booked for the next appointment, which I was eager to get the work done. Your receptionist told me not only disappointing, but incorrect news. She said that I wasn't fully covered and I had to pay a fee for the X-Ray and the next visit would cost me over $300... I asked her if there was another place that wouldn't cost as much and she told me EVERY PLACE CHARGES THE SAME. This prevented me from coming back and getting ANYTHING done. As much as I'm covered it was still to much for me to pay. UNTILL TODAY!!! I scheduled with A DIFFERENT DENTIST in the North End of the city and he was able to get THREE TEETH DONE AND I WAS COVERED COMPLETELY!! EVEN FOR THE X-RAYS! I'm scheduled for ANOTHER appointment later this week and more teeth are being done that I'm FULLY COVERED FOR. I really took what your receptionist said seriously and I thought I WOULD NEVER GET MY TEETH FIXED. I lost all hope. All I can say is.. I'm glad I never gave your office any money! Shame on you

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. S. He is absolutely wonderful. From the moment you sit in the chair, he makes you feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for. I suffer from significant dental anxiety, and Dr. S goes out of his way to ensure I’m always in a good place throughout the entire appointment. He explains everything he’s doing step by step, which really helps ease anxiety. He prepares you for what you might feel, letting you know if you’ll feel a small scratch when freezing or some pressure, and that reassurance makes all the difference. His calm, patient manner helps you relax and feel safe. For a younger dentist, he is truly exceptional. His professionalism, compassion, and attention to patient comfort are outstanding. I never feel rushed, and I always feel respected and supported. If you have dental anxiety or are just looking for a dentist who genuinely cares about your experience, I highly recommend Dr. S. At Sturgeon Creek Dental. He is absolutely an amazing Dentis and person.

Been going here for years! the staff are so friendly, positive and welcoming. No negative conversations by the staff as one waits. The examination rooms and equipment are disinfected before during and after each procedure. They are at the forefront of new equipment and procedures. Every year I go for my cleaning I spot new equipment and processes. well done everyone!
