I parked my car at home after work. Next day, it didn't start. I tried to jump start which didn't work either. So, I called my usual mechanic if he can come by and fix the issue. But he said that he doesn't provide mobile services and I have to tow my car to his shop which seemed like a lot of money. So, I started looking for a Mobile Mechanic and found "Stud on the Loose". Surprisingly, he had a ton of good reviews. So, I end up calling him for help. He came to my home and fixed my car (replaced the Starter Motor) at no ridiculous cost. It was very nice experience dealing with Chris. He is very knowledgeable mechanic and very clear in communication. I will definitely recommend Chris and will surely take his services in future.

Amazing person! Chris came and serviced my Nissan as soon as he had a free slot to schedule me. I’m to the moon with his service! I will be using him again and will definitely call him when I go over my head on fixing all my vehicles.

I had a very positive experience with Chris! Highly recommend his services! I found Chris on google when I had a sudden issue with my vehicle. He was able to come to my house to assess the problem, and book in the necessary work quickly. He offered an accurate estimate and very reasonable labour rate. He is kind, honest, professional and easy to work with.

What a lucky find! Our minivan came up with all the dashboard lights on on a Saturday before my wife had to go to work. A quick Google search revealed that it was likely my alternator. I had already replaced it once, but it had been almost 10 years. I called around, but being Saturday, every place was closed. On Monday, places started getting back to me with quotes, and their quotes were ridiculous. Also, the earliest places were able to book me in was over a week later. I did try a mobile mechanic in Calgary who was much more reasonable, but even they couldn't get to me till the end of the week. I did another Hail Mary Google search for mobile mechanics in Airdrie, and Stud on the Loose came up. I thought to myself, "Why have I never heard of this business?" But, being desperate I phoned. Chris answered. I explained my situation, and he said yes he could help me with that. I asked him how long he was booking out, and he said he had some time the next day. The next day! He texted me a quote later that evening and it beat everybody. The lowest price and next day availability. Was I dreaming? Of course I got back to him right away and said yes. The next day, at exactly the time he said he would be there, he came and performed the work in my garage. It was amazing. We are so grateful. We drive older vehicles and I hope to call on Chris in future. I hope I have found my go-to mechanic.

10/10 would recommend Chris. We had a warning light on the dash and Chris was able to suggest what he thought the problem might be based on the mileage of vehicle and what tune ups are usually done. Chris was honest and I felt comfortable with the diagnosis and felt no pressure to fix anything extra. The prices were very reasonable. We will be using Chris for all our vehicles!
