I have been getting pedicures for about 20 years now and this was the worst one yet. I had an appointment and still waited 20 minites. They sat me down and had my feet soaking for 25 minutes before someone started. Was a horrible experience. My feet are still hard on the heal and polish job is horrible.

I visited the salon for their Christmas Manicure & Pedicure special. The pedicure was very good; however, both manicure experiences were disappointing. I requested a very basic manicure—buffing only, with no polish or gel. During the first manicure, my technician was switched mid-service, and I was asked to sit sideways in a pedicure chair. My hands were soaked in cool water, a rotary file was used on my cuticles even after I said I did not want that, and I had to ask for my nails to be cleaned underneath. The manicure took about 15 minutes and did not meet basic expectations, though I appreciated being charged only half. The next day, I returned for a redo. I was seated properly at a manicure table, but it became clear the technician was expecting to do gel nails. After again explaining that I wanted a basic manicure, there was no soaking, a very coarse pad was used to “buff” my nails, and without pushing back the cuticles she attempted to trim them. One cuticle was torn, causing a painful hangnail. This manicure took under 20 minutes. The photos attached are after the second manicure. This salon would benefit from additional staff training on the fundamentals of a proper basic manicure. I was truly hoping to be wowed by a simple, well-done manicure, but sadly that opportunity was missed. That said, I want to acknowledge the owner, Lori. Her customer service was outstanding—she listened, took the feedback as an opportunity for improvement, and genuinely cared about my experience. At the end of the second "manicure", Lori did offer me 50% off my next manicure. I do not see myself returning here. I think they do a fantastic job of "Gel" nails & I hope she is able to provide her staff with "the Basics" education they need.

This was my first time here. It was an excellent experience; from my phone call to book an appointment to walking out the door once my nails were done! I was nervous getting my acrylic nails taken off from another salon, and not sure if I would have to wait a few months to put on a new set! Thank you to Luiza for her patience, skill, and meticulous work in removing the acrylics in such a way that made it possible to get a new set of gel nails without having a waiting period. So grateful for the experience and happy with the outcome! Such a well run Salon despite the busy Christmas season! Thank you, I definitely recommend, and will be back!

I've been going to Nails Ave sporadically throughout the years but more recently, I've been trying to go a little more regularly. It's always a good experience! I actually first started coming here when I had a horrible pedicure done at another place. I called Nails Ave to see if they could fix it for me + they did! They squeezed me in + took such gear care of me. All the techs are amazing + caring, I've never had a bad one. I love that they are all certified estheticians. Today I came in for nails + a lash lift and tint. Emma went above and beyond making sure I was happy with everything. The attention to detail with my nails was so appreciated. She was patient with me when I thought I wanted to do something more bold with design but then chickened out. She helped me find something that suited me + I love it! Emma then proceeded to do an amazing job on my lashes + answered my many questions while making me feel totally comfortable. It was my first time getting this service done so I appreciated her gentle + caring spirit. It was an enjoyable morning of pampering. I have recommended this place to many of my friends + will continue to do so! Keep up the good work Nails Ave. You've found a loyal customer in me 😊

Moving out to spruce/stony I couldn’t find a quality nail tech. Once I met Emma & attended nails Ave, I knew I found the one. She’s brought my nails to life, they’ve never been healthier, longer & stronger. Emma takes time to understand what my nails need & adjusts her work with them as needed for the most success & beautiful sets. Not to mention she is a gem of a human. Their $99 a month membership is SUCH a steal - two fills (high quality) in one month at that cost is unreal. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing & warm. I won’t go anywhere else for nails aside from nails Ave with Emma !!
