I can't say enough about Katie! She's is pure magic with kids! She's done my son's school photos for the past 6 years and they are always my favourite pictures! We just did our one year old's birthday pictures and family Christmas pictures with her too. She made everyone feel comfortable, made it so fun for the kids, and worked her magic with the babies!

Ahhh! Katie is the BEST! Katie has now photographed three very special moments for me: a boudoir shoot a few months ago, our wedding a couple weeks ago, and a quick little family shoot with our pup last week. Every single time, she has gone above and beyond. On our wedding day, I could not have asked for a better person to be by my side. First of all — the photos. Oh. My. God. STUNNING. I haven’t been able to stop staring at them all week! But it wasn’t just about the photos (as amazing as they are). I am extremely introverted and was worried about how overwhelming the day might feel. Katie kept me calm, grounded, and comfortable all day. She built in little breaks, reminded me to breathe, and even had snacks ready for me. After a hotel fiasco made us run behind schedule, Katie was incredible at gently keeping us on track. She kept an eye on the time and always checked in with us about what we wanted to do next, which was such a lifesaver. She was wonderful with everyone, too. When my 2-year-old flower girl didn’t want to sit still for pictures, Katie rolled with it, made her laugh, and still managed to capture bright, smiley shots. She truly has a gift for working with people. And beyond all of that, Katie is simply a beautiful, kind human being. She may not shoot weddings often, but she does family sessions all the time — and I cannot recommend her enough. Seriously. Book with her. Just do it. You won’t be disappointed!

Me and my family have been going to Katie for years now! She does all of our maternity/newborn photos and even our family photos about once a year. She is so great with the kids and her prices dont break the bank either. She is so kind and easy to get along with. I highly recommend her to everyone looking for a family photographer!

If you’re looking for newborn photography in Airdrie, Katie is simply the best! She is warm, genuine, and incredibly gentle with babies. The session was never rushed—she patiently waited for our little one to settle and made sure everything went smoothly. Her setups and accessories are beautiful, very hygienic (she even wore a mask throughout), and it’s clear how much effort she puts into her work. Most importantly, she created a calm environment that allowed us, as new parents, to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Highly recommend Katie for newborn and family photography—you won’t regret it!

Katie is the BEST!! We had our newborn photos done with her. Wow, I am SO SO glad we did. Katie is an absolute sweetheart, she is warm, welcoming, and such a professional! She knows her stuff. You can definitely trust her creative eye and professional experience. Her studio is clean and kept super warm for the babes. She was an absolute baby whisperer - DO NOT GO TO ANYONE ELSE for your newborn photos!! She is so patient, she put no time limit on our session since babies are unpredictable. We didn't feel rushed at all - some poses she spent A LOT of time to get babe in the correct position and she is really great at doing that too. She has such an eye for things and is such a master swaddler. We were so fortunate that we only lived a few houses from her so my husband and I could just walk over with our baby. She was so understanding when we brought her in fussy - she knew she would calm down and took advantage of her wake period. Katie made my baby feel so comfy and cozy. She also made my husband and I feel so welcomed, comfortable, and the photographs are absolutely beautiful! It exceeded our expectations! I can't wait to have these forever to look back on. She brought out our little girl's best features and captured everything. She even made me and my husband look pretty darn good even though we are very awkward people when it comes to pictures. I HIGHLY recommend Katie aka Soul Focus for any of your photography needs. I wish I found her earlier and did a maternity shoot with her too. Her photos are gorgeous and she has SO many beautiful gowns for mamas to choose from. She also has SO many outfits and swaddles and accessories for your little one. I cannot highlight Katie and her work enough. It's the whole package! An incredible experience with an incredible photographer with incredible photos to keep forever. I couldn't pick, I had to have all the photos! She IS that good! We also booked her last minute since I was scrambling and didn't realize people book newborn sessions while they were still pregnant haha.
