Soare replaced our aging shingle roof with a modern 24-gauge steel roof. They also replaced our soffits and gutters. Colby and his crew did a fantastic job, especially considering the geometry they had to work around. They were courteous, clean, and clearly cared about the quality of their workmanship. I would absolutely recommend Soare to anyone looking for a metal roof contactor.

Trevor and his team helped install and modify our metal roof (main house and garage) over a period of 18 months. All the work--including a complex, conical feature--was beautifully executed and technically perfect. Trevor also identified and fixed critical deficiencies left by a previous roofer. And he installed a roof-sprinkler system (for protection against wildfires) that required custom crafting of roof ladders and brackets for water hoses. We couldn't be happier with Soare Contracting. They're friendly, come in on budget, and are 100 percent reliable. And the roofs they build are works of art.

Soare Contracting recently completed a metal roof and gutter install on our home and we would highly recommend them to anyone. From the initial contact requesting a quote, I could tell that Soare placed value on good customer service. Marion and Kevin were quick with answering questions and providing us with a quote, they also explained the process and timeline in detail. Once the project started, we were very fortunate to have a wonderful crew on site who were respectful, friendly, and diligent workers who took a lot of pride in the work they were doing. We recently moved in to our new home in Langford – a 20 year old home that needed a new roof. We were looking to get solar panels in the future so wanted something durable, but we didn't want our home to end up looking like a warehouse on an industrial estate. We also like to keep our business local. After doing a little detective work with friends and colleagues we heard about Soare Contracting. Marion and Kevin own this business and they were immediately helpful and provided great guidance on material selection and style. Easy to work with and amenable they were only too willing to do the leg work and come around to our house for meetings. Colby (won Kenobi) a true Jedi of the roofing arts and his team came to install our roof and they were polite, clean and quick. Whenever there were challenges Colby was always up front and honest and we always felt confident that he was helping us to make good decisions. The team was consistently accommodating to allow us to still live our lives and they worked around us rather than the other way around. When you have a big job like getting your roof replaced you kind of sign up to a month of disruption, but given the scheduling we hardly noticed that they were there. The finished product is great. Quiet in the rain, environmentally friendly, durable and nice to look at. We couldn’t be happier with our new roof. Thank you roof Jedi.
