Amazing service with very reasonable prices. Madi has done my hair a few times now, and every experience has been fantastic. She is incredibly skilled, pays great attention to detail and always makes sure I’m happy with the result. The atmosphere is welcoming and I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. It’s great to have this salon in the neighbourhood. I highly recommend Madi to anyone looking for great hair and great service.

I had an amazing experience with Jessica, the new junior stylist at Slate Salon! From the moment I sat in her chair, she was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about her craft. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and delivered results that far exceeded my expectations. My hair feels and looks incredible — fresh, healthy, and styled to perfection. You’d never guess she’s a junior stylist; her attention to detail and technique are already top-tier. I haven't had a hair cut in 5 years and was very overdue and damaged. I booked in, and ended up having Ashlee cut my hair. I put my trust in her and I'm so glad I did. My hair feels light, healthy, and I'm very happy with the way she cut it. I feel more inclined to wake up and do my hair in the morning. I felt like she listened to my concerns and worked with me while educating me! I will be going back. I also enjoyed our banter. Thank you!
