Carlyn was awesome, I would highly recommend. Have had my hair cut many time but hers was by far the best. I didnt even have to tell her what I wanted, she just knew with my type of hair and how I wear it what to do. Im no fashionesta so it worked out great!

Seen Nadiia for nails for a few months now and loveee them! She always does what I ask. She never tries to change my mind on design because its hard. They always look amazing. Best nail in town!

Incredible service by Guiliana from start to finish! She was attentive, hospitable and very professional. I presented her some ideas of what I'd like to achieve, a budget and the vibe I was going for - she worked her magic and made my hair dreams come true! Her integrity was very much appreciated when discussing expectations, products & pricing. The other ladies I interacted with were also super friendly, I felt at easy the moment I walked through the door. The salon itself is well situated, very clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Extra points for being wheel chair accessible! Overall, I am very pleased with my experience and will absolutely return for all my hair needs!

I had a HORRIBLE experience at sheer persuasion on Dec. 22/25 with a maryane who colored my hair with what was supposed to be a burgundy straight forward color but my hair turned a bright awful red color by the 3rd day! This ill fated color has wiped out; as well, the beautiful soft perm that was done a number of weeks by another hair stylist from outside of the city The reason for my perm now being gone is that maryane refused to put a plastic hair cap on my head during the color processing time and the whole head was then caked with this solution which I can only describe as a Beet Red Pulp consistency. Also maryane disappeared into the back of the place and didn't come out until I stopped a young woman, who was going by to rinse her hair after having foils. She is a hair stylist who works at this salon. I asked her if she could call maryane from the back area, which she did. Then it took m. another 3-4 minutes to finally get back to the hairdressing chair I was seated in. The reason I called for m. was I wanted the eye glass plastic covers to go over the arms of my glasses so I could read, and m. knew I brought a couple of magazines to read. She didn't care for how long I sat there nor that I could read to pass the time while the red beet pulp turned burgundy. . Finally after far too long to leave a color in, not covered; my hair 'seemed' to be pretty close to a shade of burgundy...but not the burgundy color I chose from the swatches shown to me by m. . I finally went to a sink and m. began the rinse. I told her that I had a fairly heavy build up of wax in my ears which took a RNA at my Doctor's office over 25 minutes at 2 attempts to syringe both ears out . As m. was rinsing my hair, streams of purple color were flowing down my sides of my face and consequently I had a lot of purple residue in my ears. I used at least 12 Q-tips over the next 5 days up to Dec. 27 to get this purple residue out and even today I can still feel residue in my left ear. The color was close to a burgundy, but within 3 days it started to turn a horrid red color which does not look good with my pale complexion and the roots were even redder, as in a brilliant red !! m. told me that if I had any questions about the color and I wasn't happy with the results to call the salon and talk to her. So I called and a girl answered and I finally was able to tell her that m. had colored my hair what should have been a burgundy and now is this flaming red and I wasn't happy at all with the results. The girl said very clearly the m. would not be back in the salon until January 5 and I could leave a message with her to have m. call me when she returned to the salon on January 5, 2026 so I did just that . It was about 45 minutes from my initial call to sheer p. salon and my cell rang and it was maryanne on the line and she began screaming at me, completely unhinged . She was screaming that I had been harassing her receptionist and that the salon had security cameras ALL over the shop and they could see how I was walking about [while the beet pulp was processing on my hair]. I didn't know that I couldn't walk around the shop looking at items for sale like hair products and what not. Clearly this nasty woman maryanne, was in the shop all along as it was Saturday December 27, 2025 as usually hair salons are busy in the holiday season. Consequently, she must have been coaching the girl that answered to say she wasn't going to be in until January 5, 2026. I have never in all of my life (and I am a Senior) encountered such screaming and yelling from a so-called professional stylist like maryanne . maryane also said she was an INDEPENDENT stylist and worked for herself and I could do what I wanted and I would NOT be refunded any amount of money (for a botched hair color job) ! So at this time I am out $100 dollars and silly me, I even added quite a large tip !..far too much for what turned into a ugly color. I am asking either one of the co-owners of Shear P. Salon to please refund my money of $100. Thank You

I booked in with Hanna and could not be happier with the results of my hair color correction! I knew this was not going to be an easy task for any stylist - having to match the lower dyed portion of my hair to my upper half natural color .. but, WOW!! she nailed it! As you can see in the first photo, the color is unison throughout. She used the right permanent color to erase the brassy tones and give my hair a much more natural appearance. Her hair cut was fantastic too! My hair has not felt this amazing and healthy in a very long time - can’t thank you enough Hanna!
