I never write reviews but today I had an especially disappointing experience at sassy nails. I have been here before for a full set and was satisfied, however, today I had my nails done by Jenny. She simply did a bad job, I cannot sugarcoat this but the quality of her work was very disappointing. I came in for a refill and asked for colour french tips. Some of my nails were lifting and I assured I would pay extra for those fixes. She made a fuss about how my nails were lifting like it was my fault. I asked for long square shaped nails. She cut them extremely short and shaped them how she liked, rounded coffin, eventhough I kept pointing out that I did not like this shape. She tried to fix it, and was not successful. She saw i was very frustrated and did not do anything about it and continued to act like I was bothering her. I initially asked for purple french tips asked to try and see how it looks. Changed my mind and decided to go with green, she got mad at me that and said no more changes. I asked for the french tips to be thicker and she started fussing about that saying im asking for too much. In the end i wanted to add gems to my nails and she simply refused to saying she has other customers waiting, she saw that I was visibly upset and asked to come later to get the gems added. Despite this treatment i still paid full price and tipped 15%. But Sassy nails will never get business from me again. Im so disappointed im going on a trip tomorrow and i absolutely hate my nails :(

Jenny did an AMAZING job on my nails!! She followed the exact design I wanted perfectly, no issues at all, and she was SO fast. I’m obsessed with how they turned out, highly recommend!! 🎀🎀♥️

Sassy Nails in Kitsilano has consistently been the best nail salon for me. Peony/the owner & her experienced, creative & lovely staff do a fabulous mani/pedi experience. Quick, efficient, clean environment & a good vibe. Highly recommend this nail salon! 💅 5⭐️🥂

Sassy Nails is my regular go to Neighbourhood nail spa. For the last four years since I moved to kits I've been getting my Manicures and pedicures there. Very professional staff, the products and the options for colours are always up-to-date including Different coloured chromes cat eyes and acrylic and gel. It's very clean and tidy. They have very nice massage chairs for pedicures. I always leave with a smile on my face and a good tip for the stuff!

I used to come here for years, and they always did a good job. But lately, they've been too busy and try to do everything as fast as possible to attend to more clients. The quality of their work has gone down — my nails are uneven and still sharp. I'm just very disappointed. You've lost a long-time customer…
