Recently saw Dr Mcallum with a sick young cat.. She was amazing.She diagnosed the problem that was overlooked elsewhere and was able to allow us to put the poor fellow to sleep & out of suffering. The entire team was fantastic from the reception to the techs...All the help was amazing. We are very grateful. Wonderful care and team. RIP little Merlin..🐈‍⬛💕

Was blindsided by the costs at this clinic this weekend. In an effort to help others be wise with their money here is our breakdown of costs (please add your own as these prices are not listed on their website anywhere I can find, though I would have liked to have known them beforehand): Wellness check $124.95 - this took less than 15 minutes for two medium dogs (total charge $249.90). We've been to this vet for years and the wellness exam fee has always been included in the cost of immunization fees (6 years of receipts for current animals) - we were not advised this is no longer their practice Leptospirosis Vaccine Adult $42.00 (2021 cost $90.81 for puppy) Adult Distemper and Lepto Vaccine $68.25 Rabies 3 year vaccine $92.40 (2020 cost $35.08, 2021 cost $39.74) Surolan Otic Solution 30 ml (ear cream for allergies) purchased in 2020 for $18.22, now costs $112.40 We were in the office for 15 minutes and walked out with a $565 bill. As a reference four years ago in 2021 we paid $543 (almost the same amount) for our dog to be spayed, tattooed, medication, overnight stay, etc.) We have used this clinic for almost 2 decades of dog ownership but will not return.

We switched from another vet to this veterinary clinic when our dog was sick, we went from being treated incredibly poorly at the other clinic to just 100% great care with Sardis Animal Hospital. They referred us to a specialty clinic as my rescue dog had heartworm and we were treated with the utmost kindness and care between both places. Due to this we’ve recently brought our new puppy back to Sardis and they’ve been absolutely wonderful with him. The front desk staff and the veterinary staff are all extremely kind to us when we get there and throughout his exams and treatment. Everything was done in the room with me (though I do understand this can’t always be the case), the communication was clear and both vets we saw really seemed to work with me to have a good health plan for our now dog.

I have been a client here for over 40 years. Started with Dr. Anvik. They were always good and caring with my animals over the years. I always recommended them to anyone looking for a vet. Definitely gone downhill with the new owners. Very impersonal and all about the money. Went in to get dewormer for two barncats. Used to be able to get pills from them no questions asked. Now, they had to start a file on them, the vet had to ok it, I had to make two trips. Went to pick it up and they wanted $80.00. I left it there. This is not the same business it used to be. I will be looking for a new vet.
