I’ve been saying Yen consistently for over 3 years. She’s taken me blonde, beige, bronde, highlighted, toned, and everything in between. She always starts with a solid thorough consultation, making sure I am on board with the colour and cut/style. Not only is she extremely talented and knowledgable about hair and product, she is also such a lovely, calming, personable and wonderful human being. You can tell instantly that she loves what she does and is passionate for connecting with her clients and empowering them to feel their best selves. Yen also is a WIZARD at curing hair and I say this every single time - I always leave never wanting to ever wash my hair because her curling technique is unbeatable. I keep encouraging her to take on a student because I truly believe that she is amazing at what she does & any student would be so lucky to learn from her. Love you Yen!!!!! I've been going to see Meiko for almost 10 years now, and the quality of her work is never anything less than perfect. Whether that being fixing old highlights or going through a run of creative colors, my hair always looks and feels amazing after visiting the salon, and the colors always stay bright and vibrant for months - something lots of people have complimented me on! She always has helpful recommendations for products or techniques I can try at home, I can't see myself going to anyone else to get my hair done, no matter what I think I might want to try.

I’ve given this salon multiple chances and unfortunately continue to leave unhappy. My most recent visit was $250 for a root touch-up and long layers. Within 4 weeks the colour faded unevenly and turned brassy, and the roots did not blend. The layers removed too much density and made my hair feel thin and wispy. Nowhere near to the reference photo style. I declined a $90 gloss and feel the colour service relied on that to correct poor formulation. Permanent dye is also being repeatedly pulled through hair that's already been coloured giving it a dry, patchy look. On another visit, I asked for soft fringe bangs using a clear reference photo, but they were cut wet and left choppy and uneven! This is like basic hair technique 101!

I had the most wonderful head spa treatment at Salon Haze with Cindy! She was absolutely excellent – very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything throughout the service. The scalp exfoliation and massage were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, and I felt completely pampered! We talked about ways to improve the condition of my scalp (dandruff and product build-up), my hair (little breakaway pieces from my everyday hairstyle, which I will change), and my health (multivitamins). There was no pressure to purchase products, though I did take advantage of the 25% Black Friday discount! Highly recommend Cindy and the head spa service at Salon Haze. Will definitely be back!
