Disgusted with the “care” my dog has gotten. I see other reviews with similar medical issues and though I never am one to leave reviews, I have to make a point as a warning. My dog had a hematoma on his ear, my usual vet was booked for the week but suggested I bring him somewhere ASAP as it was likely painful. He is an older, big dog. Dr. Karanveer did say surgery was the best solution, which I opted against because my dog is older with an enlarged and I did not want to risk anesthesia. Yes, they did say they could do bloodwork to ensure, but anesthesia always carried risks and I was unfamiliar with the vet and wanted to try an alternative and see my usual vet if surgery was really required. This resulted in him cutting a piece of my dogs ear out with no numbing for the hematoma to drain. This was the only other option provided. I was told I was getting antibiotics and pain meds in liquid but was only given pain meds (as MY vet later told me from the incomplete records they were provided). His wound of course got infected despite cleaning like clockwork as instructed and also led to an inner ear infection from the drainage and moisture from cleaning. In my follow up, I was once again told by Dr Karanveer he needed surgery. When I asked for clarification about surgery and was told “I already explained this to you” I asked for antibiotics and immediately went to my vet and got their soonest appointment. They informed me the treatment my dog had received was absolutely not the best practice and they could have solved this minimally invasive and it’s most likely he will not need surgery. While the reception staff at Sahali was very nice, I do not feel like the vet treated myself or dog with the respect and care we deserved. I cannot stress this enough do not go to this vet, seek another option. Pay emergency fees at Phases and save yourself and your dog the pain.

I had an emergency with my kitten over the weekend and went to Sahali Animal Hospital, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The entire staff, and especially the vet, were incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate! They understood how stressful the situation was for us and went above and beyond by bringing us blankets, water, and Gatorade, and by checking on us multiple times. Everything was handled with such professionalism and genuine care. They ran all the necessary tests, explained everything clearly, and we were able to bring our kitten home the very same day. I’m so grateful for the care and humanity they showed us. Thank you so much.

I would like to share with everyone about my experience with this wonderful place. My dog had a hematoma of the ear last month which he had to get surgery on it and they were amazing not only did they call and check on him they checked on us as well and if we had any questions or concerns. The cost was reasonable and they didn’t try to suck as much money out of us as they could like some places try to do. The medication and removal of the stitches was all included and no surprises to up sell you later on. So to all who have a pet that you love and want in good hands this is where you need to go.So if you are looking for a vet that cares look no further you won’t be disappointed I promise. And to the doctor and staff thank you very much for helping us through this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Karanveer (Dr. KV) for the exceptional care he provided to my Golden Retriever, Ben-Oh-1-Kenobi. What started as an ear infection escalated rapidly within a day, and Dr. KV quickly identified the issue as an aural hematoma—a painful, blood-filled swelling caused by ruptured ear vessels. He explained the diagnosis, urgency, and treatment options clearly and compassionately, which made an overwhelming situation much easier to navigate. Dr. KV’s kindness, calm demeanor, and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. I felt fully informed and confident that Ben was in the best possible hands. I also want to acknowledge the entire clinic team. From the front-end staff to the back-of-house team, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely caring. The level of communication and the reasonable, transparent approach to care truly stood out. Thank you to Dr. Karanveer and the entire staff for providing such compassionate and high-quality veterinary care. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking exceptional support for their pets. 🐾

I brought my hedgehog Mara in for a check of a potential mouth cancer or abscess. Dr. KV was quiet, but so professional, informative, and you could tell he was comfortable handling a hedgehog. He had great explanations, and was willing to show me what he was seeing in my hedgehog's mouth--what was normal, what was an ulcer, etc... I am so thankful for his and the entire team's care of Mara. I hope it's a long time before I have to bring Mara to a vet again, but I am relieved knowing the team is there for us when and if we need them!
