We’ve been patients of Saanich Dental Group for several years, from their old office to the new one, & the care has always been excellent. Now that they’ve reopened Saturdays, it’s been a total game changer & such a relief for my son. The office is beautiful, spacious, & calming, with ample parking. Receptionists are efficient, courteous, & welcoming. The entire team is professional, warm, & consistent in their care. Pamela, the RC Hygienist, is gentle & informative, & Dr. Noelle Lownsbrough is incredibly patient & gentle during treatments. Trudy & Corinne at reception make the experience with their attention to detail & genuine care. They truly make the company what it is. Thank you very much. We are here to stay. 🫶🏼🦷🧚🪥

We recently moved to town and needed to establish a family dentist, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Booking my first appointment took over 45 minutes on the phone, and I ultimately had to end the call to return to work. Despite explaining that my x-rays would not be transferred in time and that I only needed a cleaning, I was scheduled for a 2.5-hour appointment. I called back to clarify this, but the issue was again misunderstood. At my appointment, I initially met with a dental assistant because the hygienist had not arrived yet. When the hygienist did arrive, I had only 30 minutes remaining in my one-hour appointment. She used the dental pick very aggressively and was only cleaned one quadrant of my mouth, leaving me with jaw pain for the rest of the day. (For context, I have had only two cavities in my 41 years and generally have healthy teeth). I was also charged a “dentist discretionary” fee despite having 100% coverage. This fee was not explained when booking and is not clearly disclosed on their website. Overall, I found this practice unprofessional, unwelcoming, and lacking transparency. We will not be returning as patients.

Our family have been seeing Dr Compton at Saanich Dental for years. He has always been very personable, professional, and consistently provides excellent dental care to myself, by husband, and our two boys. He seems to always be learning new things and challenging himself professionally to make sure he is up to date on the most recent treatments and research. The office staff and hygienists are super friendly and always helpful. Not to mention, the new space is gorgeous and welcoming.

As a long-time patient of the Saanich Dental Group , I must say that the Doctors, Dental Hygienists and administrative staff are truly amazing! The admin staff ensure your appointments fit your schedule and there is a minimal wait time upon your arrival. The Dental Hygienists, the Dentists, and especially my Dentist, Dr. Toaxen are first-rate and world-class! Everyone is very friendly, caring, professional and totally competent. And the other patients are friendly and engaging as well. Kudos and thank you for taking such good care of my wife's and my dental health!

Saanich Dental Group has been great. I have been a client for over 10 years. Staff is amazing and Dr Compton is a great guy, dentist and a pleasure to visit. I enjoy getting hygiene services. It’s a massage for my mouth.
