It was my first time meeting Dr Olsen. He and his team were great and made me feel comfortable right away. They worked me in as an urgent dental appointment and I was so thankful for their professionalism and kindness. This will definitely be my new dental office. 10/10 Also River Dental has an AI assistant for when the office is closed and leaving a message with the AI assistant was easy and efficient. It gave me peace of mind that my urgent need would be handled first thing on the next day and sure enough, I received a call right away.

I am new to Medicine Hat and had an issue with a very painful tooth on Friday afternoon. I called and left a message. River Dental contacted me Saturday morning and was able to book an emergency appointment for me Monday morning. I had X-rays taken and spoke with the Dentist. Dr. Douvis was quick and thorough checking on my tooth. He decided I needed a root canal and crown. I booked an appt about 3 weeks away and was hoping the tooth would stay pain free while I waited. I was also prescribed something for the pain if I needed it. I got a call Wednesday or Thursday morning. They had a cancelation for Monday morning which I scooped up. I was in and had the work done on my bad tooth from 10 am until Noon. Then back at 230 pm that same afternoon to have the crown put on mt tooth. It is now day 4 with the new and improved molar and there has been no pain aside from a slight ache the first evening which one dose of acetaminophen took care of. Dr. Douvis, his assistant Darla and all of the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The receptionist Stephanie was very helpful getting my insurance coverage set up for the first time. The view of the river from the dentist's chair I sat in had what must be one of the best in Medicine Hat. Thanks to everyone Highly Recommend

I've been a patient here for a while but this was my first big appointment. Dr. Leanne and Devon were amazing. I have had a bad experience in the past with extractions so this appointment was a wonderful change. The procedure went so smooth I felt so comfortable and it was overall a positive experience! Thank you guys for being so wonderful and understanding!

The front desk ladies are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. Doctor Douvis and his assistant Darla are great. They both make me feel comfortable and welcome. I just got two crowns done at the same time. During that procedure I was asked several times if I was doing ok. After my appointment which took 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon I was a bit lightheaded from being inclined back Darla stayed with me until I was ok to get up. Yes that’s right I got my new crowns the same day! I would recommend this team for everyone 😊

Kinda blown away by River Dental in Medicine Hat! We recently moved to Medicine Hat and it is my 11th city that I have lived in; so I have seen the same amount of dental offices and this is the best one that I have ever been to. I was greeted immediately when I entered from the many receptionist at the counter and I sat in the comfortable waiting room for less than a minute before my hygienist greeted me. Tea was my hygienist and she was very friendly, kind and gentle. I told her that she was the best hygienist that I have ever had, as she was top notch. She even booked my next appointment right then and there. After my cleaning I was taken by her equally friendly colleague for X-rays. It was painless and quick as well. Finally I saw my new Dentist, Dr. Wasylyshen, who was also very friendly and super pleasant to deal with. She did a quick check up and brushed fluoride on my teeth. The clinic doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is large and modern inside. There are tv’s in the ceiling and one side of the clinic has gorgeous views of the river. They have seven dentists and lots of staff. Billing was quick and easy at the exit as well. All in all, a fabulous experience and I was very impressed!
