We had our home's solar infrastructure designed and installed by Renewable North Electrical this fall. Shelby and his team are incredibly knowledge, kind, and committed to providing a top-notch product and service. We felt really supported throughout the entire process, and Shelby communicated clearly throughout the various steps. My review is a bit late as we had our solar designed and installed by Shelby and team in June 2024. Renewable North did amazing work. Their attention to detail - it was like they were installing it on their own home. With the quality of the installation and equipment our system has been trouble free. Shelby was available for any questions throughout the process and since installation has continued to respond promptly with any questions we have about the system. Full 5-star recommendation!

Shelby and his team went above and beyond for our solar install on our rural property. Shelby is a great communicator - he is responsive and kept us in the loop about work timelines and the permits process. Renewable North took care of all the paperwork and permitting which made it a smooth process for us - this was all new to us. They provided all the necessary documents and links to take care of details like the Greener Homes loan and which micro-generation plans to sign up for. Importantly, their quote was significantly less than a major competitor. Shelby shared with me that he and his staff are all qualified electricians first, which means that they know how to work with the wire and equipment to maximize its reliability and lifespan. I had great confidence during the timely install that they knew what they were doing. I was impressed about how swiftly Renewable North ironed out a couple of minor glitches in the weeks after the install. For instance, the internet connection was weak, so they came and installed several routers to boost the signal. It now works well. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Shelby and Renewable North and will not hesitate to reach out to them if we decide to expand our system in the future.

We had an excellent experience working with Renewable North. Shelby and his crew installed solar for our home. Shelby was clear and prompt with communicating. He was knowledgeable about process, never tried to upsell us and was helpful with accessing grants/ rebates. Shelby's attention to detail was also noteworthy. He made sure the solar looked as clean and neat as possible. I highly recommend Renewable North!

We hired Shelby for our solar panel installation and we are so happy we did! From the first email to the final check in, he has been the epitome of professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Other companies took weeks to even return my calls, and provided quotes that did not provide anywhere close to the same value, whereas Shelby got back to me the same night and took plenty of time to explain our options and the materials and techniques he uses to get the best possible system for our home. He also helped with grant applications to make sure we had all the technical information that we needed. Our system is carefully constructed and installed, and the inspector even said it was possibly the best job he'd seen on a solar install. Shelby is clearly passionate about providing incredible service and high quality work at fair and honest prices. A pleasure to work with, we would definitely hire him again!
