I had a boudoir shoot with Regina and it was absolutely a fantastic experience. She has a fantastic eye for detail and took photos that felt genuine and true to me. The photos that were shown to me prior to final edits really demonstrated her strong understanding of lighting and that she knew how to best capture the beauty in anyone. You will not regret booking with Regina!

Highly recommend working with the talented Regina! I usually don't enjoy having my picture taken so I didn't expect it to be such a fun and creative experience. She made me feel at ease, never rushed or wondering what to do. We had such a fun time coming up with ideas and it felt like a truly collaborative shoot. But you could come in with no ideas and Regina will take good care of you. There is zero pressure to "know what you are doing". The shoot itself (including hair and makeup) was such a lovely time that the resulting -GORGEOUS - images almost felt like a bonus.

Regina is so talented! The photos I received are so beautiful. She is such a kind woman and made me feel very comfortable. I was nervous at the beginning but she told me how to pose and it really helped. I love how she believes in body positivity and seeing the beauty you already carry everyday. It was a great experience that has left me feeling more at home in my body. You will not regret choosing her for your photoshoot!

I love being photographed! Regina met me where I was at, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She provided me with all of the prep information well in advance, so I could get myself physically and emotionally ready for the photo shoot. Regina’s makeup and hair artist was exceptional, kind, and gentle. Regina had everything I needed for the photo shoot. Her studio was warm, comfortable, safe, and had everything I needed. She listened to me and what I was wanting to create. Again, Regina met me where I was at. Yes, absolutely I would recommend, Regina Akankina Portrait Couture Portrait and Boudoir Studio!! I am blown away by my boudoir experience with Regina, from the very first conversation to the prints in my hands I felt very taken care of. Regina's studio is a welcoming and safe space, she hired the most amazing makeup and hair artist who listened to what I wanted and made me look and feel absolutely stunning. Every outfit change and pose was well thought out and she has a really good understanding of light when she's setting up a shot. She invited me back to view the untouched photos to choose my prints and it was clear she is a very talented and experienced photographer. I cannot recommend her enough.
